The first of a three part series about the restoration of the Bodie Island Lighthouse on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The light has served as a reference to sailors to turn east to avoid the dangerous Diamond Shoals off of Cape Hatteras. This program details the work that needs to be done to restore the light to it’s original condition.
