The main branch of STREETBEEFS was created in 2008 by Chris Wilmore aka Scarface. Streetbeefs as a concept was created in order to stop street violence with it's "Guns down, Gloves up" movement. The Scrapyard holds monthly fights in our Pacific northwest location. No money is involved in any way, we do not pay fighters or charge any sort of admission to our events. If kicks are allowed, short guys have advantage because tall guys have very long legs which makes them susceptible to leg and calf kicks.

Yup, knew that was going to happen. Jeramiah could be classified as a body builder too. He has a great physique!! Sure the other dude had bigger muscles, and he is pretty tough, but that doesnt cut it in the ring.

It's also because boxing improves the kind of functional strength (and skill) that is needed for boxing. The bodybuilder doesn't even have functional strength for boxing if he hasn't trained boxing before.

This is not "Strength vs Technique". Jeremiah is incredibly strong, fast, and has excellent accuracy. I would be surprised if anyone in this weight class, or maybe even the whole Scrapyard could go toe to toe with him right now.

all that muscle density slows you down. he would make a good wrestler with a build like that. for boxing not so much. You can see the difference in how fluid and fast the boxer moved with little muscle mass.

This is how I imagine all bodybuilders at my gym would look in a fight. That's why I chose to learn boxing. I would never want to end up looking like mr. flat foot in a fight. bench pressing 500 lbs means nothing to a boxer.

All short guys need to do is learn to eat punches. Gotta eat a punch to give it and once you are in range, tall guy is in trouble since their long arms cant generate sufficient force to hurt you.

Mod Bod went to a gym prior to the fight and ignored and disrespected his trainer multiple times before eventually being put out of the gym. Trainer cited “Gross Arrogance, and Overconfidence”
