You are allowed to let your window up, even step out your car and lock the doors behind you. you ever see an officer looking inside your car for other things that has no business? What if he had embarrassing stuff he didn't want seen and in tabloids in the safe haven of his car and they illegally search his car visually though they have no probably cause to do so.

I actually think both of them were bad in this case. As someone that drives with a tint all the time😂😂 I'm not gonna pretend like i don't understand why a cop will be nervous if i have it rolled up and hes trying to talk to me. I ALWAYS have my windows down. From their perspective i could be reaching for something that harm them. I think sometimes we forget cops are people and can be scared too. Ain't nobody tryna die on any job at the end of the day. With that said these cops came out AGGRESSIVE AS HELL. They escalated things to an unnecessary point where things could have gone bad. But as black people we should be more careful dealing with them and managing our anger cause if they shoot and kill you, YOU LOSE. This is coming from someone that's been pulled over 13 times in 1 year with zero tickets. I'm tryna get home to my family.

Last I checked, a driver is only required to roll down the window partway to communicate and provide license and registration. You can roll up your window after giving the license to the police. Also, you're not legally required to keep it rolled down w/o a warrant. Being a smart mouth is not a crime.

Nobody was violating his rights by asking him to lower his windows. His car has the darkest tint allowed which has a very low visibility. That gives the officer the right to tell him to lower his window to where he can see you for safety reasons. had nothing to do with color or rights. The negro was being a diva....

I think everybody is missing a major point. We are in FL. Everybody has dark tint. In a normal situation, I let my window down, you take my license, walk away, I roll my window up. The cop escalated it by turning back around & telling him to let his window down why ? Go write the ticket, come back, i let my window down, I get my ticket, & go We all got dark. We are not required to keep her window down for a minor traffic stop

According to the constitution, Tyreek did nothing outside his rights… and his windows were not so darkly tinted that the cop could not see him.

1) Kyreek was speeding thru a construction zone. Potentially endangering the lives of workers. 2) Cops knocked on the window asking him to roll down the window. Kyreek spends how many mintues refusing to roll it down? Cops are going to act civil or act demented. Regardless I aint giving Kyreek a pass on this.

"just obey and deal with the bs later", problem is, cops don't face repercussions for acting out of ego. you can definitely beat cops on the street, but at that point, neither one is ever getting back home. The cop already had Tyreek's license, all the cop had to do was go back to his bike and write a ticket, just hurt his feelings that ty told him to give em a ticket & rolled his window back up, & didn't want to talk to him, so he escalated the situation.. That cop went in with an aggressive mindset from the get-go.. that's where the problem lies... simple, don't be a dick to people, and you won't have to worry about your "safety".

That’s what I was thinking. Tyreek should have just did what he the officer ask about rolling down his window. As long as he did what the PO said do. He should have just asked the PO, “why am I being pulled over?” Those cops probably would have let him go after that without giving any ticket. I haven’t been pulled over in a couple of decades, but when I was young and got pulled over the PO ask me questions, I answered all of them and the PO let me go without giving me a ticket. Just follow the POs orders and no problems should happen fingers-crossed. I hope it’s still like that today being black. I haven’t been pulled over since the late 90s or early 2000s.

Chances are at least one of those cops was a dolphins fan. If he had just pulled over followed the instructions and conducted himself as a man instead of a spoiled brat They probably wouldn’t have even given him a ticket. That's the part people are missing out. First hand experience here Miami PD actively racial profile and are looking for things that aren't there. You gotta learn the "yes sir, no sir" it's a no win situation. Ironically Hill actually broke the law and it wasn't even a case of profiling. All he had to do was follow directions and things would've went differently.

I watched the whole thing and gained a different perspective. They were all wrong. Tyreek was being disrespectful and the cop wasn't aggressive from the start. It wasn't until Tyreek rolled his window up that the cops got triggered and overreacted. They were all wrong. Let's move on.

First thing I teach my sons is when the cops pull you over all the windows down and you have all your paperwork out and keep your hands on the wheel. Just get the ticket and go back your way fight the ticket when you get into court there’s no reason to argue back-and-forth to cops, because guess what this is what they’re gonna do or shoot us in the eyeball either one choke us out or sit on our chest, this is what we get from them. So just comply and move about your way.
