People don't listen very well. Which is why when the crap hits the fan BE WHERE NO ONE ELSE IS. GET OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF THE CHAOS. KEEP THE NOSE OUT OF THE CELL PHONES.
@@mikecallahan8234 No shit, people suck. Two weeks ago I was at work, driving my train, and the train that comes towards me on the other track hit a person point blank. That was not nice to see, we had to stop of course, all I could manage was to be allowed to move up like 200 meters (european here, sry :P), so neither I nor my passengers had to see that shit longer than 5 minutes, but then we had to stay of course, to ensure it's save. But that takes a while, police has to come, medics, maybe fire brigade (and it happened on a track that's like in the middle of the woods), company officials have to give the okay for us to keep moving. I mean I just saw a man getting erased and what did my passengers do? 'Can't we keep moving now? It wasn't our train. How long will this take, I have a meeting.' and so on. Like 30 people asked stupid questions and none of those have been 'Hey, Sir, are you alright?'. And I was sitting there, remembering the corpse next to me, unable to do anything and in all honesty, on top of that, I had to go to the toilet like immediately but had to wait for 60 minutes. Not my best day, but I bought the most expensive coffee I could find after I got off the train and tried to chill for a minute before heading home. Goes to show how reckless mfs are and how disconnected from reality. Me, me, me, me even if death goes around.
This goes out to every first responder involved in this fire ambulance and officer that ran headfirst into such uncertainty. Today I salute you all from the bottom of my heart thank you so much and keep up the fabulous work guys 🇺🇸🇺🇸
One of the nicest things I heard of thst night was there was a guy who backed his truck up to one side of the concert and load shot people in the back of his truck and take them to the hospital. About 3 or 4 at a time. They said he was st the hospital after it was ending and he had blood all over him cause he was helping carrying in people. One of the nurses asked him where he was hit and he said this isn’t mine. I helped get people to the hospital. The nurses gave him towels to clean himself. What a nice man. Later they said he disappeared snd they didn’t know who he was till weeks later. They asked on tv who was the guy who brought people to the hospital. He finally turned up. He was very upset. He said it took him weeks to get all the blood out of his truck.
@@nychris2258 Noticed that too. It's okay to want to be helpful. In these situations, the average person can become a hero. But it's the police that need to be giving out the orders/directions not the helpful person. Like the countless people who drove wounded to hospitals or giving up your shirt to put pressure on a wound. Or the [people who simply cleared the scene so others could.
The guy that dragged his girlfriend and two or 3 others into the bushes around the side of the stage probably did the best. He got out of the line of fire and stayed put while he held his camera to video what was happening on the concert floor. He did good. None of them were shot.
Jason Al deans buss had bullet holes in the side of it. So did a couple of the other busses. So that paddock or whoever, he was shooting all over the place. Started with big targets.
@@ILoveCougars26 I don't know the exact time but the one cop was telling them to get down like duck down so he didn't get shot so the guy got down on the ground and he said go that way and the guy started rolling
Just when i think I've seen every video of this event this one right here comes along 4 years after the shooting happened and I didn't even know about it.... Thanks for uploading it
If you haven't seen the paramount documentary "11 minutes" it's really good. A lot of the survivors talk about their struggles with PTSD since that night.
My Neice is one of the people that suffers PTSD to this day. But she is a little better. She had horrible night terrors and hated closing her eyes. She was up front towards the left of the stage with her friends. They were dancing, swaying back and forth when the girl next to her, who she didn’t know, took a headshot and sadly died immediately. Really young girl she said! If my Neice or her friends had leaned the other way… They ended up under the stage with some people that dragged her under since she had gone immediately shock because she couldn’t move. She was soaked in the poor girls blood. Eventually they ended up at the airport but she doesn’t remember how they got there. I still can’t believe this happened. Our family doesn’t talk about it unless she brings it up. So tragic and senseless! I don’t ever think that evil demons name should be written or spoken again!
2021 watching and my anxiety is legit over the top! Honestly I applaud the Officers with the way they tried handling this nightmare! I’m sorry for all the people who lost their lives and those who were injured. Ohio here!
That’s just part of life that’s the issue with USA people they hear gunfire and they freak out that gun fire sounds awesome we hear that every day 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂bunch of pu$$ies
Huge shout out to this bad ass deputy. He had one fucked up night on the job and was cool as a cucumber under fire. If I had to guess, ex military, seen combat. Fuckin hero that night. Saved some lives my making sure they weren't just sitting there and running in the wrong direction.
@@briigee544 I think it depends on what parts made you feel that way. It seems sad to see these cops talk harshly to these ppl, but in the moment where everyone is freaking out and panicking, talking to them in that way may be the only way to make them listen and continue to safety.
@@briigee544 if you watch this clip, the officers explain why they had to act like that. It's quite informative ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5hfYJsQAhl0.html

I was so worried that my son was there. Waiting to hear back from him. Wasn't answering my calls. He lived there and always went to the strip. Wasn't sure if he went to festival or not. Finally , he called back. My hear breaks for everyone that was there. I'm very grateful my son was not there that night.
On 10/1/17, Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old man from Mesquite, Nevada, opened fire on the crowd attending the Route 91 Harvest music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. From his 32nd-floor suites in the Mandalay Bay hotel, he fired more than 1,000 bullets, killing 61 people and wounding about 867 (413+ by gunfire or shrapnel).
@@franknittyyy Into a crowd of that size it could have very well been 100%. I refuse to use that metaphorical phrase I’m sure you know which I’m referring, it feels inappropriate and disrespectful but it must’ve been just like that not to mention, without anyone expecting it..can you imagine, it could have been worse than 90%
This is some insane footage. I know it may sound “easier said than done” but for those people who had minor gun shot wounds, they need to do their best to get to safety and then deal with wounds. The priority is to stay alive.

Why is this officer not using his radio trying to coordinate with other officers to find out where the threat is I don't understand he went got dressed and has not once used his radio and tried to zero in on the threat
Tip for the cop - don't say go "east". It's dark, the vast majority of these people are not from the area, are intoxicated, and I doubt that anyone has a compass readily available - say go left, right or straight.
I’m a vet, OIF 11 and OEF 13 and watching this brought me back mentally. Chaos after you make contact is a whole other level of stress. Gunfire is audibly disorienting it’s hard as hell to tell exactly where you’re getting shot at from. Honestly the cop should’ve kept everybody moving, putting yourself against a wall is the last thing you wanna do. getting shot at fucking sucks
I was trained in combat first-aid that if you are shot in the foot, you should leave the boot (shoe) on because it helps compress the wound and slows bleeding while protecting it from further injury and possible infection. Essentially the sock and shoe act like a compression bandage. I would assume a firefighter is trained in at least some basic first-aid so I was surprised when he took his shoe off.
I was honestly more annoyed that a first responder who KNOWS that a shot to the foot isn't urgent or life threatening, was taking up another first responders time who could've been helping people who had injuries that needed actual immediate medical intervention.

3 to 4 Shooters, 5.56 & 7.62. M21 Rifle for the single Shots, hard to tell. Sounds so Different Recorded. But the Helo Little Bird, Rotors too fast for UH=60. Defiantly Rotary Wing Aircraft. No Overlapping fields of Fire, could have been far Worse.
Americans don’t listen generally. Pathetic…. This officer keeps telling people which way to run and still, they question it. Off duty fireman seems capable of still running but whines about his foot. And the off duty female trying to be a hero by saying give me a “shotgun” is just stupid.
It’s amazing to me just how dumb and panicky some of these people are. I understand being scared, but running around out in the open is just begging to be shot! I can hear the frustration in the deputies voice.
Once their brain realised they were actively being shot at the lizard part kicks in and all higher functions are out the window. Even worse, the rate of fire was very high, like genuine suppressive fire levels, and that works on trained soldiers let alone random drunk civilians.
My guy what a dumb comment. No offence. They’re being peppered. Sounds like the shit we had to deal with in bosnia and even that stressed tf out of some of our soldiers.
This was crazy. But people are stupid, nosey, and uncooperative. They put themselves and others at risk! The officer who filmed this with body cam... thank you for your heroic service!
There’s a really great documentary done on this event. Extremely well done by an independent journalist. She absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every time I’ve mentioned the title it seems to disappear. It’s funny how RU-vid does their very best in protecting the truth of the situation.
@@SheanaOBrien1985 head over to a media platform that starts with bit and ends with chute. The author is mindy Robinson. The title states with Route 91. The civilians walking with this cop are very helpful. You can tell he really appreciates being briefed and told other officers “no there with me there cool”. Just the humanity and care people has this day is heartwarming but absolutely everyone is devastated. I hope everyone is coping with life as best as they can. Can’t imagine the nightmares these first responders and civilians have. I wish I could take the pain away. 😢😢😢
My friend of 20 plus years & her sister, brother in law & boyfriend were 5th row stage right she ended up at McCaren airport in a helicopter hanged there was one female shot in the arm, her sister ended up underground by the mgm tram! bro the off duty cop in the beginning tryna act tough was pissing me off. "ik im off duty but ill take the brunt man." So irritating. And shes smiling while people all around her are dying.
People are so weird. Drunk YT people in an emergency...I would have made that girl sit down. No Stacy u cannot have a shotgun. Ur DRUNK AF and this isn't Call of Duty!
I have watched many videos from this mass shooting. I have also seen alot of concert going nurses, cops, and emt, in those videos drunk af and wanting to help. Few causing more problems for the sober crews trying to work. I also see alot of people working together. Off duty police and soldiers just wanting to help. Jumping right into action. All those people, not listing to take cover, had it been a sniper rifle, doing all that most of those people wouldev been probably shot in the head, the constant peeking and ignore orders to go low, or take cover, i understand its chaos and confusion, i understand Its not easy to be in that spot, knowing you got some one you care around you. man imagine if the guy was a good sniper, so many people wouldev died
It is very possible. Sound around big buildings can be hard to zero in on the location. And then with all the chaos on the radio, it can be hard to relay the information.
always super important too get your bearings no matter where you are . this is the only thing you have when you r not armed.also map knowledge of your basic streets .
The first responder got the full pressured till the end of it "fu*k" that feeling bro, the people begging for help , the other's that got shot , hit or etc and the feeling that in just one day you feel like your gonna go crazy cause of what happening to all people there.. got ya back to all officer's.. true that saying "STAY STRONG"
1:38:52 He pushes him nicely, then eight seconds later he pushes him very hard. I feel bad for that police officer, he did not have a good night when he heard the news from his police radio that somebody was shooting.
I feel like most Americans have become the person who wasn’t listening to people in Authority. We had one guy who lost an election: his friends in the Senate won the same election but he lost and he just put up a middle finger and said “rigged”. He wasn’t drinking he was just taking horse tranquilizers or something.
Ppls don't listen! The cop was so frustrated to the point I lost count of him saying the F word. SmDh One guy said.. Where's the police? The cop said.. RIGHT HERE. 🤦♀️ 👏👏👏 to this cop.
I don't think most people have a clue what trying to work such a situation in full riot gear and then that rush it's unreal and hard enough for the police to deal with someone like this in regular uniform but tacgear ain't lite not at all God speed and wishes on long happy life for all these cop's and first responders on this one ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️✅‼️‼️‼️
You know the saddest thing about this to me which hit me is these people are laying in a sea of trash of booze cups and bottles or whatever cans and they're dead they went out for night of fun cant get much more wholesome than a country concert and they get shot and killed and lay face down and it makes me wonder where the people they were with went? they just ran off as those people got killed and they didn't come back? how could you run off from your spouse and not go back and check on them to see what happened to them? I don't get that I don't understand that I'm not made like that I don't understand people that shoot random people cuz they're pissed off or crazy about something go kill and pissed you off that I could understand but I also don't understand spouses and loved ones who run off and leave those they got shot and don't go back see if they can stay with them till they pass see if they can help them anything I don't get it???
i think it quickly becomes a stampede - you just assume running away from danger is the most important thing and that your friends did the same - i'd hope if you were taking care of somebody in a wheelchair you wouldn't abandon them though - same for little kids - but adult friends - i think it would be impossible to find them in the chaos
There's an interview clip of two sisters and their mother, the mother gets shot and an off duty fireman tends to her. The shots started again and the fireman looks the sisters straight in the eyes and very seriously yells at them to run and leave their mother, who at this point was bleeding out and unable to move. So they ran. The mother eventually made it to hospital and survived.
I know this was so long ago, I’m kinda just now looking into it.. but can anyone tell me why the body cam time says 5:06 when this happened after 10 pm? Like you can clearly hear gunfire which started at 10:05 and lasted 11 minutes. I never see any comments talking about it, not saying it’s fake at all I’m just curious why it says it’s around 5 if this happened after 10pm.
Just a question. Why so many law enforcement members on site kept saying “multiple shooters”? Military and law enforcement’s collective experience shouldn’t be ignored. Even in this video, the deputy said the same thing.
i love this officer. "wtf are you looking at? trying to be a target", bystanders screaming in his ear while hes trying to get info "STFU, where are you shot man"
Not reading all these comments the off duty guy should have been told to check in with Command, in the meantime he would totally be helping if he helped direct people to safety while quickly moving (encouraging / setting an example.) Instead of trying to be some gungho, trigger-happy hotdog. Goes for the chic too....dude 🙄
Yeah the fence.. Not good cover at all.. not at all.. other than line of sight, but the shooter had high ground, so he could see everything as bird's eye. 32nd floor. Anything he could see he could hit. but by this time I suspect Paddock had already committed S within the first 10-15 minutes of this video, noticed the shots stopped and no more rang out for the rest of the video.
Go east?!? Do you have any idea how little of the population knows directions?!?!? Give them a business, a hotel, a gas station...anything but go east! I worked with paraprofessionals I could ever teach it to in the simplest of terms...🥺🙄

OMG definitely mass chaos. In totality alcohol mass shooter and confusion was at play here. I'm a survivor of gun violence and let me tell you watching this video makes me so anxious. Years of suppression just reared all those feelings. I pray for every single person that was there that fateful day. I pray for victims family and friends. My heart hurts to know evil does exist. ❤

I’m more interested in knowing if this officers wife knows he’s more worried about his b!tch from TINDER. @2:44:25 She was at the concert and he’s more worried about her the whole time lol. Good one why am I the only one that caught that 🤔
I notice there were many off duty police that were identifying themselves and were trying to help. My question is why were they told they couldn't have a firearm or help and were instead told to retreat? Just a curiosity is this like a department policy or was it something else?
Put simply, it's just not worth it. Each firearm is registered to an officer and it is their sole responsibility to ensure it is safely handled. Not only would you not be able to confidently verify someone as an off-duty officer in the heat of the moment and with all the adrenaline pumping and radio traffic, but they also already had plenty of officers carrying firearms present in that moment. Giving plain clothes off-duty officer a firearm would not only cause more panic among the public (after all, they'd just been shot at!) but also lead to unnecessary and potentially dangerous situations with other officers unaware of the situation. Combined with all the false reports of multiple shooters and copycats, if another officer saw some guy dressed up in plain clothes brandishing a firearm I don't think it'd end too well for either party. The off duty cops should have known better than to ask, but no doubt they were just as panicked as everyone else was in this heart-breaking situation.
they could be bullshitters, and its unaccounted for people. You dont know them, dont trust your life with them in a scenario where you could get into a gun fight
He was a high roller. Often gambling through the entire night into the morning. Because of this, he was let to use the service elevator when he checked in with quite a few bags but not suspicious. Then he slowly brought more over a period of 7 days
