she sucked at making entry and stood in the fatal funnel. She is lucky the suspect wasnt shooting, same with the pudgy guy that couldn't break down the door, he's lucky he wasn't shoot through the door. This is poor police work, they just got lucky.

Dude I live in Canada and use to do midnight deliveries to 711 across s.ontario. I can tell you some crazy stories about working nights at the 711. I only did those deliveries for 18 months till I found something better.

She took too long to get in/through the door and she hesitated to perform. Two men behind her had to shove in with pistols to end the threat. If the guy had a gun, the hostage and the woman would be dead. We're lucky he didn't stab the hostage or he would be dead too from how long she took getting into the room and on target.

There ballistic doors designs for employees to run in and close to protect them from arm robberies. As former officer they are often never used or propped open. This one did it's job well.

I do eviction alongside Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department, New Mexico State Police, the SFPD and the Magistrate and Municipal Courts... I don't feel sympathy for the guy that held the employee hostage with the knife. I used to work at Exxon years ago. I was lucky the store never got robbed. For the store had armed off duty police officers doing security. Plus I never worked alone a second or third employee was scheduled to work.
On high stress situations like this, adrenaline is flowing through your body like crazy and it does cause your hands to have tremors. I highly doubt the officer is shaking because he’s scared. Anyone with a heavy adrenaline rush, their entire bodies will shake, including their hands, and their voices will even shake as they talk.

As a Denver resident, Denver has become California 2.0. Maybe you can report how bad the Governor and Mayor have handled soft crime. We don't even bother calling the cops anymore. Cops usually can't do anything, but say "call your insurance company".
Scrolled for days to see if someone said this. Saw a couple comments ragging on the 2 employees for not handling it on their own, but I think that hostage did very well to push the guy off of him so the cops could get a shot.
The female cop was calm and first one through the door, looked like she fired the initial shots and avoided hitting the hostage while taking out the subject holding the knife.
It's was a barricaded suspect and no longer an active shooter despite shots being heard. Voices of cowards with no shame, but only worried about their pensions.
After the first officer kicked it, the suspect moved the desk behind it to reinforce it. Without the desk in the way, I’m guessing it would have went after the 4-5 blow.
