My routine 1. Think about getting in the shower 2. Finally getting off my phone to shower 3. Body wash 4. Deciding not to wash my hair 5. Shaving 6. Almost falls asleep while shaving 7. Slips and falls in the shower 8. Mom “ HONEY ARE YOU OK “ ??!!!! 9. I’m fine just dropped the shampoo bottle 10. Quickly gets out of the shower 11 . puts on pajamas 13. Runs to my room 14. Waits for my eyes to fall asleep 15. Nothing happens 16. I check the time 17. It’s 1:30 in the morning 18. I get distracted 19. “ accidentally opens RU-vid “ 20. Watches RU-vid for an hour 21. Looks at the time 22. It’s 2:30 in the morning now 😅
Dry brushing, exfoliating with a scrub, then using a loofah and on top of it shaving sounds like a good combo to destroy your skin barrier Not to mention putting active ingredients like retinol after it
To the girl whose skin's too sensitive or can't afford these 'aesthetics', it's OKAY. It's okay to not dry brush, using body oil, have hairy legs, etc, as long your body is stay healthy and smell fresh! Your heart is all that counts. Create your own aesthetic girlies! 💗 Be proud of yourself! Edit 1: grammar fixing. English isn't my first language Edit 2: if you insecure with your body, try morning walk! Eat healthy food and exercise. I've tried it for two weeks, my mood got better, and so my legs got better at running. Stay healthy is a flex too😊🌼 Edit 3: I love you all! Thank you soo much for heartwarming replies!💗💗
I'm glad to see people who actually understand skincare are coming out of the woodwork. Content like this makes people feel like they aren't doing enough, when it's so much simpler than influencers make it out to be.
For your skins sake, please do not dry brush and exfoliate!! Do either one or the other, they both exfoliate the skin and doing both everyday can irritate your skin !
My routine: 1. Get the idea to take a shower 2. Go on my phone for 5 hours 3. Realize I need to take a shower 4. Pick out my clothes 5. Go on my phone for another hour 6. Finally get in the shower 7. Stand in the shower staring at the water for 20 minutes 8. Randomly start singing 9. Stop singing and stare again 10. Finally start washing myself 11. Sings while getting washed 12. My ears start ringing and I stare again 13. Start drinking the shower water 14. Realize that there are other people in the house that need to use the bathroom too 15. Panic and get out of the shower 16. Aggressively dry myself 17. Put on my clothes 18. Sit on the toilet for 10 minutes contemplating my life 19. Stand up and stare at the door knob 20. Put my hand on the door knob 21. Finally walk out the bedroom after staring at the door knob for 5 minutes 22. Walk out slowly hoping no one heard me singing before 23. Run to my room and go back on my phone
No hate but to those thinking they would kill for this routine: 1) The human body can only absorb so much product.. the rest is just a waste 🤷♀️ 2) Dry brushing is enough exfoliation for the body, no need for additional scrubs 3)No need to use a fragranced shower oil AND another body oil afterwards. Its too much for the pores. Again, no shaming her, if this makes her happy that's all that matters. But no need to question your own minimal routine
I wish this wasn’t so true, add smoking a J before bed and it’s my night routine in a nutshell. We need to brush at night guys can someone force me please😭😭
Esthetician here! If any of you want to follow or try this routine be sure to only start out with one exfoliation method, especially if you've never exfoliated before or you have sensitive skin! The dry brush, sugar scrub, and wash cloth mitts are all good forms of exfoliation. Obviously her skin can handle three methods in one go but everyones cannot. But please do add exfoliation to your routine tho 🥰
@@32.QUEENCARD If you work 10 hrs a day everyday and your monthly wage is barely enough to pay rent and bills and buy healthy food, yeah it is pretty expensive.
Beautiful, but please girlies read my comment. Dry brushing AND exfoliating can seriously irritate your skin. Moreover if you're a person of color dry brushing could potentially create more hyper-pigmentation, this is not my 2-cents this is something doctors and dermatologists discuss, look it up. Stay safe, healthy, and gorgeous ❤🎉
Some people want to take extra care of themselves bc it makes them feel better. Doing my skincare makes me in a better mood and makes me feel like I’m being productive.
@@32.QUEENCARD no need to answer like that shes just saying that taking a shower is enough bc some people can afford that body care products and yeah, if skincare and bodycare makes you feel happy then do it theres no problem!(pd: not trying to be rude and if im being rude, im sorry..)
What I saw was she bought into a bunch of marketing gimmicks, a bunch of crazy chemicals into the bloodstream, a bunch of redundant product usage used in the wrong order…
Remember, you don't need all these 'asthetic products' to achieve good skin! get proper sleep, use simple skin care products that suit your skin type, improve water intake and just be mindful of your diet. Your skin should be fine. Edit: added extra stuff cause yall wanted 😭
That is not all of the key points to clear skin 1. Lots of water and be mindful of ur diet (like u said) 2. Cleanser 3. MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE 4. Spf This is basically everything u need Edit: I definitely recommend using extra products in ur routine so go to a dermatologist to get things perscribed
My grandma's bath routine was, Caress soap on an exfoliating cloth or wash cloth. Out of the tub, she'd use baby oil or almond oil, then a baby powder/corn starch blend. Her skin was so soft and smooth well into her 80s.
My 11 step body care routine: 1) water 2) soap 3) scrub 4) scrub 5) scrub scrub scrub 6) scrub some more 7) scrub between your toes 8) scrub again 9) wash 10) towel dry 11) you're done, clean for the day
@@32.QUEENCARD Well you can say whatever you want. You will find it's not so quirky and different! A lot of people follow my 11 step body care routine.
This is really cool, I like the aesthetic and the vibe, but how much money does all if that cost? And another question, do u do this daily? Or like every few day's ❤??
Body oil under a water based cream is the most useless combo but go for it. You want the moisture to sink into the skin no sit on top of it, blocked by an oil barrier.
Want to start doing this! @ least on the weekends. Love how it feels. Taking SPECIAL care of myself. Wow Self Love is the beginning of success!!!!!!!!!!!!!
do not exfoliate this much please do your research as well coz this video is just the way to do it, if your gonna do it please just do your research and dont exfoliate that much or ur skin will be soo soo sore, please i beg trust me
Girls, it’s completely okay to not do all of this. The only thing that is very important for you to wash yourself. Take care of your hygiene, wash your hair et cetera. You don’t need this 14 step skincare routine if you do shave and the only thing that you need to do is likely exfoliate and moisturise because it helps not to get ingrown hairs, but if you’re not shaving you don’t need to exfoliate three times it’s going to damage your skin you only need to exfoliate once or twice in a week so don’t worry about all of that. Just take care of your water intake and love yourself
LMAO y'all are so extra. Just enjoy the video and move on😂. There's nothing wrong with doing any of this, and I'm pretty sure she just does this for her own enjoyment. It's nice to treat yourself sometimes. Your two cents is unnecessary. P.s. If a few second body care video is enough to make you feel insecure, get off the internet. But your fragile self-esteem is nobody else's problem.
@@Malevolentgoddess i’m not feeling insecure but i know so many girls that would. maybe just let me look out for others? the video is great but so unrealistic, and overconsumption and materialism at it’s finest.
Layering body lotion, body oil, body butter, body cream, body serum and body moisturizer all on top of each other is so insanely redundant 😅 Most of those goops and creams probably all have similar ingredients between them so you’re just wasting money, time and might even be doing a disservice to your skin because of just how many molecules you’re hammering it with.
This is why social media can also be negative for society because it's showcasing an unrealistic lifestyle, and even if this was true it's because they are a content creator and have time for this due to them not having to do anything else
Why do you care so much…..she’s just doing this for hydration and clearly enjoys it. Nobody’s telling anyone to be like her. It’s just an aesthetic video showcasing her routine.
@@theaondracawley5441 No it’s not. The skin on your body is less sensitive than the skin on your face. And she might do this exfoliation only once a week….you don’t know.
@@ScizzoringGirlz girl I'm talking from experience, the skin on your body can be just as sensitive as your face, dry brushing is a type of physical exfoliation, the lufter, the body scrub, the shower gel, she doesn't need so much. When you have dry/dry sensitive skin you have to be careful.
@@ScizzoringGirlz I hope that you don't think that I'm hating on the creator of the video, because I'm not, skincare/body care is personal but you still have to be cautious.
This is so pretty and I love watching your videos and getting ideas too. But for some girls just remember not everything is real and the full bottles show this isn’t used often🙈 Still I support you keep going 💖
My skin care routine at night time 😊 1.wash the face by using my facewash 2.steaming well 2 - 3 minits 3.Apply my seamson oil for neck and face 4. Massaging it i don't have a complex skin care routine cause I am a school girl but have a golden color skin 😊
to each his own, it's great that girls take care of their bodies, but don't forget that just taking a shower, having a healthy routine, sports and using moisturizer as needed is more than enough♡
This is your daily reminder that- i want you to notice that even with this 14 step routine, her skin still isn’t “perfect”. she takes amazing care of herself and she looks incredible, but the perfect look that people want isn’t possible. love yourself too.
This is a destructive skin care routine that is too harsh on the skin barrier, she might actually get better results if she didn't damage herself to this degree. Even if it's every once in awhile it's still too much. If you want to exfoliate without hurting your living skin, look into fruit enzymes that help remove the dead skin without irritating the living. Great for sensitive skin as well.
@@32.QUEENCARD It's still destructive, your skin barrier is better off without this. Moisturizing mitigates the damage but doesn't eliminate it, better to not hurt it all and use better products.
My body care routine: Washing my body with bronners tea tree oil bar soap After that I exfoliate with tree hut watermelon sugar scrub Now I would be using a Cetaphil body lotion And lastly I use bolero body oil that is scented watermelon mint! That’s all i do lol but have a nice morning/afternoon/night/midnight! :-)😊
mine body wash exfoliant ( once per week and at night only ) shampoo or conditioner to shave ( this works so well ) shave ( once per week and at night ) body wash body oil lotion body butter deoderant ( balm ) deodorant ( roll on ) deoderant ( spray ) perfume body mist body spray
Some people are genuinely slave to trends and have shopping addictions and they justify it under the guise of “self-care” I really hate how bastardized the term has become.
REAL self care is drinking water, exercising, eating healthy, caring for your mental health (journaling, therapy, meditation), and nurturing relationships that ground and center you.
@Bunny-sw8zt right? This new wave of Skin Care obsessed kids, for example. They will break out so bad when they become teenagers, because they are ruining their skin now. All because X influencer and Y influencer said they NEED to buy Z, W and all the freaking alphabet products. These products are so expensive but are probably worth very little, once this trends passes the prices will drop drastically.
I doubt it, it's probably just showing off (or she might just be really obsessed with self-care and copying expensive trends and brands because she doesn't really know how to do it)
My body care routine as a 14 year old: 1.dry brush 2.Body Wash 3.body scrubs 4.shave 5.come out of the shower and dry 6.body oil 7. Moisturizer 8.Fragrance mist
Guys, I know everyone is reassuring everyone else that it's okay if you don't have this stuff but at least appreciate this girl's work to care for herself
My routine: 1. Get in shower 2. Stand depressed in the middle of the shower for about 10 minutes 3. Decide if I should actually do something in the shower 4. Gets body wash 5. Loofa and body wash 6. Shave 7. Shampoo #1 8. Shampoo #2 (it’s a sun protector shampoo) 9. Conditioner 10. Gets scared bc I think there’s a monster outside of the curtain 💀 11. Gets brave and gets out That’s my preppy aesthetic rich shower routine!
Don't encourage exfoliating that much. Overdoing it causes micro tears and textural problems. It's probably why you're developing keratosis pilaris on your legs.
