Check out the article about this on The Rolling Stone. Story on how this came to be. David asked to play guitar on the studio cut. BC sent the tapes , they came back with Gilmour's track! Synopsis of article. Ice T went to PF management, they weren't interested. went to David & Roger (separately) and David was very enthusiastic & Roger's comment was " Who's singing ? " Ice said " he was ", Roger OK'd the use !
