Hi ma'am since 1 inch is taken up for bust dart won't the front panel be shorter than back panel by 1 inch? If so how can the front and back be matched while sewing side seam? Should 1"be added at the bottom of front panel?

very nice video. thank u so much. i have few doubts about seam allowance and ease while using this sloper to sew kameez 1. while taking measurements do we keep tape flush on body or keep it an inch away 2. should i add ease to this pattern while transferring it to fabric, if so how much 3.what is the seam allowance in addition to ease 4.if I add bust dart, won't it pull up front panel by 1inch? if so, how can I align waist line and hip line of front panel with back panel? won't those lines of back panel be 1inch below front panel? 5 for sleeve how much ease and seam allowance should I added?

lower bust line u mean to say it is a empire waist round is it always 1.5" or it changesu consider bust full mea at chestline and bust line i have adoubt if we take bust round mea at chest line we also add 1/2 as ease doesn't it make more

When you taking in the side bust dart where do you add the 1inch that has been removed in other for the front length not to be longer than the back

how do you calculate shoulder length for different ages

While taking the measurements you have not mentioned whether you took any easing. If easing was not included then placing a 1" dart on the waist line will reduce the waist considerably and the Kurti will become very tight. Also, it may become difficult while putting on and taking off the Kurti. Please let us know about the easing and a word about seam allowances. Thanks.

Could you please explain what is shoulder line for marking the bust point..

So the main difference of front dart &back dart is , for front dart we will take half an inch below the apex point where as for back dart we will take 1.5 inch. Is it correct mam? Kindly say d difference?
