Please help this family, if you have any information please call the hot line! Normally, the police will not tell your identity! As a mom I would loose my mind if I didn't know where my child is . Help that grieving mom Please!❤😢❤
As a swim teacher, unfortunately there’s nothing suspicious or unusual about a small child drowning, especially a vulnerable neurodivergent child like this. Absolutely horrible tragedy
Heart broken,my oldest grandchild is 18, he's paralyzed, and I panic every time he leaves. My heart goes out to the family. Heavenly Father, thank you for your Holy Spirit of Comfort coming to this family.
I have autism and when I was a kid I would run away into the street and wander places like this. this absolutely breaks my heart i hope he rests peacefully
I have a son with severe autism just like this baby! My son is non verbal, not potty trained and completely dependent. He’s also epileptic. He’s 21 now but has the mindset of a 2yr old. He is a wonderer he walks around all day all night except for when he’s sleep. He has gotten out of the house before more than once but GOD was with him every time and we always got him right away or within a few minutes he did not get far. I don’t know what I would’ve done if something ever happened to my baby so I can only imagine what this lady is going through my heart is hurting for this mom and her precious baby and all that knew and loved him. GOD bless this mother
Is the pacing a part of being on the spectrum? My son is autistic also, high functioning though, and this has always been something he's done and I've always wondered about it. This is my worst nightmare also and I can't imagine the pain this mother feels. Absolutely devastating. He's in the loving arms now. RIP
@@weloveangel509yes it’s usually called stimming. It happens because the person either got a lot of energy built up or they’re trying to regulate themselves and their emotions. Medications can help but they can can also make it worse.
@@mcrchickenluvrsounds like me and my son. we have to be doing something until we burn energy and get tired. The word I get in trouble for having idle time because I'll do everything get bored and leave, lol.😂
I get what you mean, a special needs parent is a completely different person to a parent of a so called "normal" child, my heart goes out to the family as I've been where they are and I know it sounds banal but no parent should EVER have to bury a child 😢
He definitely is holding him close! I pray for his mommy, family and friends and neighbors, who are mourning the tragic loss of this special and beautiful boy! May God bring comfort in this wrenching and sad loss!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 He is resting in the arms of Jesus!❤
Don't you remember it was God's plan to remove this child from this mother and cause her all this suffering we're not allowed to question God he just gets to do whatever he wants and we all just have to suffer the consequences just like this poor lady who was probably praying to him the entire time to help bring her child home
@TwoStacks217 TMH Son suffered too He was born without sin and got crucified to save His people . bad things tht happen are because of the sins people do in this imperfect for the moment world
I lost a son by drowning, he was sixteen and I was there when it.happenef. it's been over 40 years ago.and I know the pain.I pray God will heal the hearts of this family and give them peace of mind. Heaven has gained an angel.😢
You can feel the raw passion of this mother I have a child also on the spectrum and the fight every day for them is ingrained deep and they become so deeply a part of a mothers soul ❤ my prayers are with you and mama you've done everything for Ryan and this is so wrong my heart bleeds for you xxx
My son is 8yo non verbal autistic. He is highly drawn to water. Sadly when I saw that the name of the neighborhood had "lakes" in it. I feared of this outcome. Nearest water has to be the first place to look when dealing with missing autistic children! And having someone stay near water watching until child is found would be a very good decision! This is my biggest fear in life.... A latch or lock on the highest point of ALL exiting doors in your home is one of the most important things you can ever do if you have a child with autism. I would recommend securing windows as well. 😢
Me also. I'm always warning other parents of autistic kids to put alarms on their doors and other safety features. It seems 28 years ago, we parents learned so much more about autism then parents of today.
I did as well. My nephew is highly attracted to water as well. I wish law enforcement would understand this and start with the water when a child on the spectrum is involved. My heart breaks every time for the parents.
I have a friend with a son just like this. They couldn't fo the high locks. He would stack even toys to get out to go see the water at the lake. They had to resort to outdoor lock on the doors, and everyone has their own key, but the lil boy. He is 9 now and has figured out how to get the windows open. So Dad had to take his bedroom door off of his lil boys bedroom cuz he would close the door and block it to get put the window before mom,dad and sister could get into the bedroom to stop him. Now they had to put screws into the bedroom window to stop him from getting out and getting drowned. A couple times ge was found by strangers attempting to cross the highway! I found him 1 time at the highway. I bout had a real-life heart attack! And all his moma did was turn her back to answer her daughters question and boom he was gone from where they were in their own yard. It's so super hard on parents that do care, love, and adore their children.❤
This is absolutely heartbreaking. As a mom with a 3yr old autistic son who constantly elopes and loves water & cars this is something I worry about constantly. Sending love and prayers to His mother and family
My godson is also autistic, non verbal, loves running from his mother and loves water. Swimming lessons have been a great addition... he is now 6 & able to swim in the deep end 🩵
Get door and window alarms too so you know if they try to leave house while you’re sleeping. In another room, etc Someone also recommended a tracker .. maybe one of those gps watches ? Or something your child will wear all the time like a necklace ? I love the idea of swim lessons Love seeing so many people trying to help each other in the comments ! ❤
@@mtnewt1 Hi, thats exactly how you deal with that!! Well done on you and your family. Instead of restricting what he loves, you taught him to be safe doing what he loves. Thats how you deal with not only autistic children, but with any child who loves water or cars, you teach them! Well done again 🙏❤️
Parents with autistic kids like this need LOUD alarms on all doors and windows so that if they leave they are immediate alerted. But loud alarms will also alert neighbors too.
Your absolutely right! My son just turned 8 and is autistic. Although he is not one to go off on his own I still have high locks and alarms on all my doors. Sadly this could have been so easily prevented.
You are assuming that people have money for resources like that. Even if a pack is $20 that’s something people don’t have sometimes. People on the internet need to realize everyone is not as privileged as you.
I get not having money for things I got an alarm off SHEIN for just a few dollars and it sends an alert to my phone when door opens as well as makes noise
It seems as though all Artistic children love water I have a six year old niece nonverbal she loves the water even inside the house we can't keep her out of the water. I always wonder what draws them to the water. God bless you and your child and may God give you all the patience that you need to continue the journey with your child 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.
My son posted a live video on August 24th of citizens only searching for this baby. He stated that the citizens/volunteers were the only ones out there looking before the police attempted to do anything and it was already late in the day. That baby had been missing since the early am hours. There was even a citizen in his own personal boat looking for that baby. They ended up finding his body 4 days later on August 28th, in the lake by my son's house. So heartbreaking. It hits close to home and our hearts because he was just a baby and my son also has an autistic 5 yo son. That broke me down 😢😭🙏🏾🕊
@aliciastar7777 I am not here to cast judgment on anyone's parenting. There was nothing stating those allegations. At 5 am, most people are still sound asleep and that may have been the case. He was autistic. Each child is different. I'll just wait until I get more information before I judge or comment about the parent(s).
As a fellow mom with a young autistic boy, this absolutely breaks my heart. If your child has autism, I'd highly suggest getting a security system or alarm sensors on every door and window. Children with autism will elope so the alarm will notify you if a door or window is opened. Rest in peace little man. ❤
She had a ring camera...don't they have special set ups for alarms an movement etc? My client has ring cameras an as irritating as it is, that lady alerts whomever that someone is at the front /bk door sense movement throughout the house etc ( he is 94 and snoops at night for sweets) jus asking if all of them are like that?
My friends had to resort to using outside door knobs, locking them the inside, having to use a key to get out. Everyone except the child had their key to open it to go in and out. The higher latches or locks is a good idea, except use the door know lock backwards to make double sure these babies can't get out. It's not lile thay can be left alone, so no problem if a fire starts. My friends big sister has to wear her key around her neck, like a neckless 24/7.
I am a mom of a now 19 year old son on the autism spectrum. This absolutely terrified me when he was younger. 💔 Lord, please have mercy upon this grieving family and other loved ones and may Ryan rest peacefully in your arms forever. 🙏🏻❤🙏🏻
May of 2021 my nephew Kyrin Carter 12 yrs old went missing in Hammond, IN. He also had autism & was non verbal. We searched day & night for 8 days drones, horses, divers, dogs, 3 different county officers, 3000 volunteers plus some. His father my cousin (more like a brother) had to identify his son after not being able to see him for 7yrs prior😢 this hits home & my family still mourns. I'm praying God comforts this mother just as much as my family.
I’m so heartbroken, my absolute soulful empathy and prayers Mama! I too have an autistic and partially blind son. Sweetheart please believe me I know from my spirit to yours you absolutely always did everything you possibly could to provide him with pure love and protection!!! I truly know this is the truth. I believe and know you poured every ounce of your soul into helping your amazing and gorgeous boy. Mama we belong to a community and our learning curve is beyond the tallest mountain in this world. Our deepest love and strength we afford our children. Truly this world doesn’t deserve and understand our children. Though we know how incredibly significant they are to be loved in this world. Please Mama in a blink of an eye they can be proudly off exploring. My dear friends grandson was an adventurer and was saved though barely not as he made his way to train tracks and was before being saved slightly clipped by a train. They don’t ever run away they do not understand the dangers that exist without us. My deepest soulful condolences and prayers. From one autistic Mama to another my deepest love. From New Zealand 🇳🇿 to you I hold you and your boy forever in my thoughts and heart. ✨🙏🌟❤️🌟🙌✨
My prayers and condolences go out to this Mom and her family. I am a mother of an autistic son who is non-verbal and who had issues with eloping. This news breaks my heart🥲.❤🙏🏾
I have a son myself. I’m so sorry for her loss. Can’t imagine what she is going through . For a mother it’s pure devastation 😢😢😢 So young. Had his whole life ahead of him. RIP son. You’re greatly missed by the people who love you ❤
Yessss Dear parents, we had to do the same thing because our little 1yr old would watch how we enter and exit, rooms, doors, open cabinets etc... He was a tiny MacGyver... He would push a chair down the foyer through the atrium and next to a door! We would stand nearby and watch as he attempted to open chain locks but couldn't! He would unlock each lock except deadbolts and chainlocks... I don't know why children think its funny to sneakout... Our child began at 1yrs old...We had to move two locks to the very top of the door.... Dogs are a huge help! Our dogs would drag him back or knock him down everytime he stoodup! They would grab him by the shirt or diaper and bring him back to the door! They would bark ferociously to awaken everyone...As he aged he began to tell the dogs no, or hit them trying to make them let him go! The dogs knew the street was danger...
As a mom of an autistic child who runs away I totally can't even imagine what this mama is feeling right now ma'am I'm just going to lift you up in prayer. I lost my oldest son in November last year losing a child is a pain no parent should ever have to face. I would ask the any and all people who read this just take the time to send her some love and say a prayer for her she's going to need it
This absolutely punched me in the gut and broke my heart for Ryan and his family and friends 😢😢😢fly high young man until your reunited with his mom and loved ones😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
My grandson has autism but is not a wanderer. He loves water so I got him and his sister into swim classes. Best thing I ever did as water activities are abundant where I live.
I remember my mama did the same thing when I was eight let me tell you.. of everything that I have ever known.. that was the most and best decision she had made to me.. that and learning how to drive
I am so devastated for her and my prayers go out to her, her son Ryan, the family, neighbors and everyone in the community!!! I too have a son with autism and is nonverbal but knows when his name is called as well. My son has gotten out numerous times and I can say that if it weren’t for having wonderful neighbors in my community for helping things could’ve went left on these occasions. Also, our family dog absolutely loves him and the last two times he got out she was right there with him crossing the busy street which is 2 houses away from our house. This dog 🐕 is very protective over him, she’s smart and I thank God Almighty for bringing her into our lives. I’m telling you this dog is an ANGEL. It’s an ANGEL disguised as a dog. Thank you 🙏🏾 Jesus ❤❤❤
As the mother of an autistic child my heart aches for her and any other family and friends.💔😭 I’m so sorry. My soul is shattered upon hearing this outcome for this beautiful angel. I pray psalm 91:4 over his mother and any soul that grieves with her in solidarity. May God overwhelm her with the peace only he can envelop them with. ❤
How heartbreaking. As a mom of a nonverbal, grown autistic son, i was so fearful of this outcome when a pond was mentioned as they gravitate to water. My condolences and prayers to his parents and family. ❤😢
I’m praying for this family in tears knowing how hard we try keeping our special needs children safe I have twins that are 6 and both on the spectrum and this is one of my biggest fears. I almost wish that they had a community for us and our families to live to keep our children safe .
My condolences to this mother and her family on the loss of this beautiful child. 😢One thing I want to say is that many have left kind comments, but some have left insensitive/judgemental comments regarding poor parenting etc. For those with so much judgement, you have no idea how much energy it takes to raise a child on the spectrum. If you’re human, you require sleep/rest. Many parents have hypervigilence from the chronic stress and that leads to exhaustion. This family has raised this child for 8years, and on one unfortunate day he happened to get out of the house at 5am. It took one moment for them to lose everything. Have empathy, it doesn’t cost anything.
The love was palpable in every word she spoke, but especially when she looked at the camera and said Ryan's name. ❤ My deepest condolences to the family. This is never news any parent should get in regards to their beloved child.
I have an 8 year old on the spectrum and this is my worst nightmare. My prayers go out to his mother and his family, I know that news was absolutely devastating. I honestly don’t know what I would do as a mother if something so tragic happened, I don’t think I could ever go on without my child.
Deepest condolences to this mother and the rest of their family. Utterly heartbreaking. I have two children who are diagnosed autistic. My son escaped me twice. Once at an insanely crowded fair area, the second time he ran across a busy curved road. I bawled when I got him back safely. My youngest daughter is my other diagnosed child. She was a major runner. She got away from us several times when we were out and about but because she has a mild vision impairment, she was assigned a white cane to learn to use because she has a high chance of losing her vision in her late teens/early 20s. That cane slowed her down. She hates it but I really appreciate it. And the reality is that it gives her freedom when my hands are full and the light is too bright for her to see well. Anyway, she escaped our house a few times and our neighbor brought her back the first of those times. I found her the rest. It just crushes my heart to think that could have been the outcome for one of my kids. I pray for peace and comfort for Ryan's mother. What a devastating blow.
