I love playing with makeup and fashion, but at the same time, I’m quite a minimalistic person. I don't like the idea of being fixated on the body too much. I have an alternative and unconventional viewpoint on beauty, the body types and face shapes. I love helping other women find their "it" and finally discover their beauty and boost their confidence.

I don't know how you do it, but this and the face shape series just makes me super excited to notice how different people are and how each individual is beautiful in their own way. This really makes me for example understand my features and appreciate them! It's easy to see beauty in other people but this makes it possible to see yourself through "other's eyes" too, am able see new qualities and improve self-esteem. Thanks for doing this, you rock xxx

Out of all the beauty gurus I am subscribed to, I appreciate your content the most. You are the most helpful and I find these videos so interesting and educational. When I watch other youtuber gurus, I feel like they are more in love with the attention they get than anything else. They never evolve as beings and their content feels wasteful a lot of the time. I appreciate that you're not here doing hauls or discussing your "monthly favorites" and taking sponsored Tea selfies. That you're here to educate and help each and everyone of us understand our unique beauty in ourselves as well as others. Easily my #1 "beauty" guru, if we should even call you just that. Omg..stopped in my tracks hearing David Kibbie mentioned! Years ago I got his book, Metamorphosis, and went to his makeover salon in NYC for a class and day.! I still have the idea sheets etc! I am a Classic Dramatic...you do get "the eye" after knowing his method!!!!! Love him...changed my life by making dressing easy and I always look like ME and accepting hat. I love his info...thanks!

I don’t know how I came across your videos but I’m so thankful I have! I was tired of comparing my body to shapes and fruits, and even when I did, I still couldn’t figure out why some styles wouldn’t work on me, what styles DID look good on me, or even what hair cuts. The Kibbe method makes *so much sense* and is so accurate! And I love how it goes in depth about proportions, bone structure and yin and yang rather than just saying “rectangle” or “hourglass.” Thanks so much for all of your videos Aly! They’re life changing! ❤️🙏🏼

I’ve been having such a hard time loving my body, these videos have helped me so much, I hated my roundness and size of my head, but being compared to some of my favourite beauty icons and idols, and being told those things are beautiful has helped me a lot. I’m still working on it, as self-love is a journey, but this has helped so much in that battle.

Incredible video!!! You are by far my favorite beauty related channel on youtube. I love that instead of just showing us how to do certain makeup looks or which outfits to wear, you tell us WHY to wear them. First of all I love your insightful and respectful videos! I love it that you are doing this series, I have been searching for someone doing it but have not found anything! Please do a part that goes deep into the Flamboyant Natural type. I have found that this might be the one for me, but I can't find any detailed info about styling. It is often dismissed as common and and I would love to see examples of clothes, colors, styles and patterns. Both good and bad examples so that I can compare. Thank you!
