That radio looks good. That is where I will get one for mine. I am now in the process of getting my panels and all and storing them until I am well enough to start on the restoration. Yours is really looking great!!! I can't say enough on what a great job you have done!!! Mike
Truck is looking great. I plan on restoring my '87 Ford Ranger sometime in the future and did a practice patch weld yesterday in my garage on a scrap fender. It takea a whole lot more time and energy than i thought it would! Patience is the key, it doesn't get done in a hurry if you want it done right, that's for sure. Take care and thanks for the vid
I picked up an old door at the junkyard cut it up a few times an welded it back, had to learn this step before I started cutting on the truck I'm still learning
It's ALIVE!! BWAHAHAhahahahahaaa! Cant believe the steps of metal working your going through, most guys would stop long before you and put 3 or 4 coats of high build on it and sand it flat, awesome work man.
Good job Steve! I have a 1961 driving now and a 62 that I am working on. Your work and working techniques are excellent and I wish I would have found your site sooner it would have made my job much easier. Keep up the good reporting on your project. What seam sealer did you use and how did you squeeze it into the seam(s)? Thanks for the help. Capt Nick.
Dang, truck is looking and sounding good! Congrats, you are doing a good job. I'm re-doing my 66 right now but nowhere at your level. What radiator did you go with? I'm tearing my truck down little by little. Not enough hours in the day!
absolutely beautiful! you do great work and explain a lot. I have watched all your vids getting some tips since I am just starting my 56 chevy 3100 stepside restoration as well as MrHevyshevy's. one question, have you ever used a flange tool when welding in body patch panels? have seen some do it and it turns out well, just curious. keep up the good work.
The truck looks and sounds great. I know you do construction for a living, have you had formal training in bodywork or are you self-taught? You could give Chip Foose a run for the money.
