I love how the cat held position instead of pulling full force so the guy wouldn’t face plant into the wall. That cat wasn’t even using 25% but I’m sure the guys strength completely caught the cat off guard. The cat was probably thinking this man is worthy.
"The cat was probably thinking this man is worthy." --- Like the Predator feeling Arnold Schwarzenegger also as worthy when the alien dropped its weapons for a fist fight, heh.
At a house party I went to once they had a Great Dane. It loved playing tug of war with a short piece of rope, it carried it around trying to find someone who wanted to play. When the game was in progress there was a lot of growling and shaking, but the rope didn't move forward or backwards no matter who was on the other end of the rope. The dog was clearly strong enough to give anyone a whooping, but knew that that would mean the end of the game. I'm pretty sure the same thing is happening here, the lion just wants him to keep playing.
I think the lion is also tired, I always play tug of war with my belgian malinois. he's almost as big as me when he stands and I do workout but not seriously body building. we play until we're both tired, he manages to nug me little by little but I have more stamina than him so I can won in the long run. I can see he's tired when he no longer pulls the rope and just choose to laydown :)
@@maizenn925 Yep, my dogs always tire out LONG before I do when I take them on a long walk or run around and play with them. Honestly, I was shocked I still had it in me last I went out and started playing with my dogs, I haven't been as active (outside of work that is... my job is fairly physical) since I was a kid and my dogs were ready to go back inside before long which surprised me since they always want to take their sweet time when there's mosquitoes and humidity out.
The lion totally won easily, no matter how jacked up he was, a lion’s muscles are way bigger inside than what you may think they are. There’s a reason why they have those huge muscles for bringing down huge predators and for how big a lion seriously is.
Yes, that’s not the only factor though. Physics are also involved in this situation. Such as the liger being on four legs rather then two. The center of gravity is also lower than the man in the video. Not to mention friction as well
What's with the hate? This guy was clearly joking with the victory claim 😂. Also if that were any of the people commenting they'd be slammed to the ground in a millisecond, dude's strong as fuuuuuck
@@veliselaci3096 oh dang man. Is a tion a real thing?? I didn’t even know that it was real, I was just being sarcastic and thought I made up an animal haha
This was hilarious! This guy gave that dear cat some much needed exercise and play. He was obviously enjoying himself as much as the dude. Funny as hell when he dropped the rope and then came charging back when he saw the guy didn't quit! Thank you🙏😍🐅
@mrs bean that IS a male lion, to be exact it isn't a lion but a liger or tigon (basically cross breed of male lion and femal tiger or vice versa) you can see his mane that is not that big as in pure lion and also you can see fur stripes as in tiger. So your statement that he is playing with female lion trying to diss that man's strength just shows that you are maybe a tad bit too judgemental mate :D as a matter of fact, cross bred animal is usually both bigger and stronger than male lion, let alone female, so I'd say this guy put up a good fight (it should be obvious that well fed probably 300+ kg wild animal with lower center of gravity is so much stronger than any living human in a game of pull, shouldn't it now xd) and besides this was just a form of play with animal, can't see a reason for judging the dude Have a nice one mate :D
Scrawny weaklings in the comment would've been slammed against the glass even with low effort from the liger but talk shit about the bodybuilder 😂. The guys also a comedian by the name of "blessing awodibu" so I'm sure he was just joking around anyway and didn't really think he won.
@@gregoryone90 how exactly is my comment arrogant? How is your comment not? Keep your self righteous space wizardry, and fear of the dark idiocy to yourself. Nobody gives a shit about your fabricated morality.
The lion has 4 legs, claws that can grip the ground, is way heavier, and has strong jaws that can clamp around the rope. If you’re a human you’re already at a physical and mechanical disadvantage for your build. Doesn’t really matter how big you are. Even if you weigh as much as the animal itself (which is a lot). Not really a fair comparison.
Its jst a fun game.... don't b serious abt who is stronger... if lion has 4 legs for best grip thn 4 men can't even beat him in tug of war rope game.....
Humans aren’t at a disadvantage? The lion teeth don’t have much grip strength. And while they have 4 legs, humans store most their muscles In their two legs. Pound for pound human beat a lion. My dog is 110 and I’m 100 and I beat my dog in tug of war when he’s giving it his all.
@@dennisruud825 I mean.. it destroy ours. Not that strong for a big cat but it’s not the psi that matters. It just can’t get as good a grip as our hands. That’s why it kept dropping the rope
That fence gave him all the leverage he needed to think he won. If it was evenly horizontal, it wouldn’t have been close. Lion was at a huge disadvantage pulling at that angle with the Fence helping this guy😂
Saying the lion only used its jaw is like saying Blessing only used his hands. The hands/jaw are the connection point through which the rest of the body's power is channeled. The lion is using its body, the connection point is through the jaw
At the end, the guy was panting heavily, talking about having had a good workout all while joking about having won the tug-of-war and the lion was thinking, “Wow, that was fun!”. I think the man held his own really well. Almost any of us typing in these comments would have been pulled through the hole along with the rope for the lion to use as meat flavored dental floss.
…and at the end the lion was holding on with one paw also. It would be fun to see him in a real tug of war with a chunk of meat on the end of that rope just to end all doubts about who “won”
The amount of negative comments against this guy is honestly baffling. A big cat wins in any strength category and this man had the guts to challenge it knowing his limitations, and all anyone can do is talk down to him when they couldn’t come anywhere close to what he accomplished.
People aren’t talking down on him for trying this..people are talking down on him for acting as if he “won”. That tiger was barely trying and pulling that guy all around. The tiger literally drops the rope for 5 seconds and the guy claims “I won!!!”: that’s why people are clowning him lol
@RU-vidUser747 Disagree.. Dude participated in an experiment but clearly understood this to be an unrealistic feat and claiming he "won" 'just for kicks'!.. How do some of us here know this? Because if dude genuinely felt that he was stronger than a Liger then he would challenge it inside the cage (to his demise of course)
@Panthera Atrox OR, people are so easily triggered over the simplest things.. Would the loud mouth 'athelete' be a lot less annoying without displaying having a good time?
@@AlexRodriguez-gb9ez ... I think that even if the bodybuilder uses a wall, he would then have to use all his arm & hand strength though to pull, which may not be enough. Plus, the bodybuilder only has 2 feet with sneakers on, which is not equal to 4 paws with claws that can dig into the ground to give the lion more leverage & friction.
Very impressive when you consider that the man is working with 1/2 the traction as the the lion because the lion has 2 more feet on the ground and isn't wearing basketball shoes. This makes a huge difference mechanically
Yep, that cat has a much lower center of gravity. He get to use all 4, so he is cheating lol. Let that cat try to tug and stand up on just 2 legs like the guy, the cat would loose.
He's pretty clearly being sarcastic Idk why people in the comments seem oblivious to that. I feel like people choose to get offended out of envy of physically superior human beings.
It’s because they’re all insecure about themselves so seeing a guy with big muscles get beat by a fucking lion gives them the confidence to shit on him to make themselves feel better because they’ve never worked out a day in their lives so it’s just easier to hate instead
The cat was playing, not preying. The latter would have been nearly fatal for the bodybuilder... severe head concussion to the ground, snapped spine, trauma etc.
The cat was about to slam him into the wall at the end but then something happend to the lions grip on that rope and he is holding it with teeth rope is full of saliva and he could have bit through the rope or something
Yep it was just playing.. if the cat was hungry and was in a situation to get food, he would pull 5 guys like this dude easily. Lions can force control a hippopotamus...
I have done the same - with my house cat. That dedication and resolve she showed was incredible. She would not let go for over 10 minutes and put all her strengh and weight into it. Finally, when she had pulled it into the rearest corner of the room, I gave up. For a minute or so she waited to ensure herself it was over, and then started her walk of pride. I have never seen such an entitled cat..
I feel sorry for you that you arent stronger than an average house cat. Thats literally crazy the fact youre the complete opposite from the dude in the video. Have a good life straw arms
@@hugejackedman7423 I don't think most people are looking that far into it lol. Everyone is just either an idiot or a dick these days and I think that's all it is.
@@jonathananderson7990 lions are known to drag full size buffalos over rough ground. Those animals weigh 400-900kg. With all the friction of the ground that's easily 1250kg of pulling force. This lion was not trying to tug the rope out of this man's hands lol. If the rope was attached to this man's arms for reference, it would be able to pull them apart. Just a reality check
@@jonathananderson7990 Lions take down Cape Buffalo, Giraffe, and even juvenile elephants and hippo. This guy couldn't run on a treadmill for more than five minutes without wheezing like a dying man.
@@jonathananderson7990 no, a single lion will tug a 900kg buffalo over rough ground without lifting it. That's multiple times the weight any human will be able to pull
Bro what you guys saying? Even if the lion wasn't pulling with all of it's strenght the fact that the guy could stay on his feet with his strenght alone is really impressive, yeah he's smug as shit but you can't deny he's very very strong.
ye you couldn't see the ground difference in the other videos but here it's pretty clear. Dude has to practically lift the entire weight of the lion while the lion just has to have a grip.
I love how he almost lost and the lion let go of the rope because it was becoming too loose. But when the lion saw him celebrating, it immediately came back and grabbed the rope like "oh hell no! Who said you won??"
Just goes to show how unbelievably strong wildlife can be. That guy has probably been weight training for years and that lion was simply born like that.
@Professor Oak that’s not the point. He still shouldn’t be able to hold his own with a creature the 5 - 6 times stronger than the average man, Even if he’s only playing. You don’t really think we don’t know the lion is not being serious do you ?
lol you obviously didn't watch the video right and don't know much about lions. The dude was 100%. The lion was playing. Probably no more than 30% and still won.
@@vasily2022 you obviously didn’t read the comment it doesn’t matter that the lion was playing the fact he was strong enough to hold his own with a creature the 6 times stronger than him even if he was playing is beyond impressive. You must be a idiot to think any of us think the lion was being serious. You couldn’t do what that man did,not even close so keep them key board warrior fingers closed
@@jimothyasteward1829 By playing, they mean the lion was only matching the man, it’s fair to assume that I could have walked up to it and had a very similar outcome since the lion would have then just matched me. Similar to what we do with our dogs, we aren’t ripping toys out of their mouths lol. We hold it, sometimes give some slack, sometimes take an inch.
@@kingofdakings881 a lion going 30 percent like the tough guy above me claims is not matching strength. Lions playing with each other go 30 percent with other lions so for a human that far beyond impressive.
What’s most impressive is how the lion is having as much fun if the wag of his tail is any indicator. And also the way he came back to get he rope again👌🏾
Cats don’t wag their tail out of excitement…they do it when they’re mad or annoyed; however, judging by the fact that it grabbed the rope again, I’d say it knew it was a game and was enjoying itself
People talking about how strong the lion is compared to the bodybuilder are forgetting one thing. Traction. The lion has four feet on the ground and is using its mouth to pull. The bodybuilder has to use his arms to pull meaning he's got less traction. Admittedly the lion would still likely win, but it would be a much more even match if the bodybuilder didn't have to use use his arms to pull the rope.
The fact that the Liger is just holding the rope with his paw at the end, without breaking a sweat is hilarious. Props to the body builder though for being able to hold on for as long as he did.
Dude I almost gasped to life in my chest laughing the way he "gargled" that junk dang that was most wholesome from the GUT funnniest thing I heard this month the way he said that ahh I feel better now somebody else felt it, that junk was soooo funny wow
