I’ve never held what happened against you at all. it was exactly as you said, you warned me into it and I being the stubborn, competitive guy I am obviously wanted to give it my all....shit happens, and I have a bad ass scar and good story to go along with it! Devon is the greatest person arm wrestling could've ever asked for, someone this dedicated to sharing with people the ins and outs of his sport but being humble enough to understand some have it and some don't and if you don't then it's best to save yourself rather than try to act tough he's the #1 ranked arm wrestler for a reason and it's not from talking. Much respect you've gotten me into arm wrestling now I catch myself watching your training videos on technique and everything in between.
Very classy as usual Devon, and shows how cool you are and a great guy to give him an out. You do not in any way ever come across as a bully or a mean spirited person to purposely hurt someone like that. Your fans know better! stephen martin Devon is awesome. Super humble, very giving of his time and down to Earth as heck. Fan always, and will always support Devon. He is so popular and has such a loyal following for a reason. Arm wrestling ace and legend, great personality. What's not to like or love? I grew up in Bloomfield and Picton Ontario where dev Lived, people talk all the time still how cool yet Scare the man can be, he would be world class at anything he did.
I think Devon has the right idea about open challenges and not partaking in them unless certain criteria are met by the promoters to vet the competitors, especially against strong guys who dont understand the mechanics of the sport. Pro armwrestlers train for years to condition the arm's ligaments, tendons, and bones to handle the stresses of arm wrestling.. the bones develop micro fractures during training, and over time, those micro fractures heal and increase bone density and mass. I had the honor of shaking the hands of several top arm wrestlers at the 2017 WAL finals in vegas, and they all had one thing in common.. incredible 'weight' and density to their arms and hands, you could just feel it. its a different kind of power alltogether.
I love how hes just this tall lanky guy, 'he outweighs me by prob 100lbs of muscle'..yet he knows his arm is so conditioned and strong (despite the size and appearance difference) that he can just casually say hes the favorite and 'be careful buddy, i dont wanna break your arm'. Thats what makes armwrestling so unique and awesome

Bodybuilding saved my life, I was really down and out 10 years back in my life and thru training and Bodybuilding lifestyle was able to turn my life around. Devon is the best out there...one of the best of all-time. If he stays at 240lbs and below he beats pretty much any pro at that weight or general JR level mass monster. If Devon goes above 240lbs he beats any pro on the planet.

How Frank's kids treated you on that event after the match was a disgrace, but what impressed me was how you stoically managed that whole situation. You man, are a class, an elite, a real gentlemen while those animals are nothing more that primates who walk and talk like humans.

the way you pwnt pushkar back in 2011 was absolutely terrifying. you completely cushed the guy both mentally and physically. it was absolute divine victory. and i dont think the result would be any diffrent today.

I’m not an arm wrestler, i’ve lifted weights all my life and i have to admit that it’s hard understand or grasp the complexities of arm wrestling. Bodybuilders or weight lifters figure that if they can bicep curl the equivalent of their own body weight than they could have a decent chance against someone like devon until they get their arm broken.
@@prizma45 : Yes.. logically it should but again, devon has easily won against dudes who have far more grip and biceps strength than he ever did. I think you’re right in terms of leverage though since he’s really tall but i can’t really figure it out especially that i’ve never arm wrestled...

Dude contact fellow Canadian John Little, his good friend was Mike Mentzer who was a stud 80s bodybuilder. The type of training that John is well versed in is way lower volume than Arnold with bigger strength increases. You will beat that shmohawk Levan if you train like Mentzer.
Armwresling is not the only expression of strenght , so if you beat a bodybuilder or a strongman in armwresling the only thing that it means is that you are stronger in that discipline. Peolpe associate strenght to big muscles or overall size becouse it is true in something like lifting heavy weights for reps (bodybuilding) or lifting enormous things (strongman), You probably can beat all those guys in armwresling but all of them can beat you in lifting heavy weights , and that is also a dimostration of true strenght

Arm wrestling is a gift That to be trained and maintained Has nothing to do with muscle weight It's more about bone structure legiments n nervous system . It's not something u learn to be like any other sports Devon seems to be the best I've seen so far specially when it comes to endurance . You have to know how to deal with pain , it's all in ur head Devon seems to take pain and stress in another dimension . Still haven't figured out how you get strength after long amount of endurance . ( I know u r a master in terms of knowing ur opponent's weaknesses n that's how u manage to beat guys who r stronger than u ) Any exhausted muscle would rarely generate power unless there is an adrenaline rush Like in a life threatening situation or emotional stress . U must know how to control this somehow . Well you are the best so far , you are not the strongest in terms of power but u r the smartest on how to use ur strength .
