@@antdx316 it’s a strap that can wrap around the tire of a vehicle basically that v shape arm goes down and then they drive it up go the tire, once they get close enough the back tire grabs the strap and wraps itself up and then they just slowly stop and then boom the car can’t move it’s cool look it up we have one in are department

Brave, and have a conscience, not so quickly to just kill, in that video, no flash from a gun fire, or was the windows shot though, tell the cop shot??? And the other officers were in a better view, why they didn't they see or hear a shot? That was why the video was not shown all the way . Most likely. And yes I wasn't there , and don't even want to be in a situation like that, or around, but I love our men and women, in our town, the do a great job ! Dude Grant is a shithole. I saw a guy get his brains blew out on Grant and 1st Ave about 12 years ago. There's always people getting shot and killed in Tucson and a lot of it happens on Grant.

Shootings are so common in the US. Everybody here has a gun. They are as prevalent as cell phones. I expect this sort of shootout everywhere I go and they can happen any day.
We deal with the same criminals. Someone has to be robbed first, murdered first, before cops get involved. In a state where concealed carry is restricted, citizens deal with the same criminals except unarmed, and no backup.

You can see the one officer making split second aiming changes as he fires to follow dudes head forward. Then dude with the rifle puts one single round right in a guys head as he approaches. He did that because he knew what he hit and where he hit.

All 3 officers who fired shots are 10-15 year veterans. They handled it very well in a fast developing situation and it still has pucker factor. Bravo gentlemen, and God bless you all!👏
Damn good job by the officers not wasting any time taking out this maniac. Excellent marksmanship by the SWAT TEAM because from that angle, it takes serious skill to hit the suspect. Bad guy is out of the world and we get to see our heroes in blue do their jobs! Thank you officers for your service! 💙
seriously? it takes "serious skill" to hit the suspect who is standing OUTSIDE the car in open view directly in front of three cops in body armor with red dot sights? Watch the video at half speed and pause at 1:04....do you see how easy a shot it was now? Nothing but respect and gratefulness for police and all who serve, but truth is always truth, and no...this was not an example of "serious skill" is the most objective perspective I can think of....it was very simple on a technical level, the emotional aspect might be different as of course it's always stressful, but no it wasn't a precision shot whatsoever when the guy is standing like an idiot in wide open view while the female is sitting in the passenger seat many feet away thankfully....assuming she wasn't willing to shoot at cops as well but just didn't have a gun....never know.

Wow I used to live near that corner for about 5 years. I drove down that street all the time to go to a little breakfast diner, that's super crazy. Glad the Police are safe and executed their mission successfully.
The field of view with a helmet cam is soooooo much better than the usual chest-mounted "badge cam", which has its view mostly blocked when an officer raises both hands to engage a suspect. Also shows which way the officer is looking at the time, which gives better data regarding their attention and what they realistically could or could not have seen at the time of the incident. Wish these head-mounted cams were more common...
The google glasses with the camera is on point. Body cams obstruct so much of the view of the incident it's hard to tell what's going on half the time.
I live in Tucson and I know the exact spot where this shooting happened. Campbell and Grant Road are close to the main Banner University Hospital and the University of Arizona. Generally speaking it's actually one of the safest areas in town. I would expect to see a shooting like this on Tucson's Southside, so seeing it happen here is shocking. 😯
That particular area is pretty safe I live near there but if check the crime map of Tucson majority of the gun related homicides have been on the north side this year.
This is why I bought a Taurus and carry daily. Both types of carry are legal here without permit or license. Hats off to the brave ones. I see this guys on call daily as I go to work. They do work and I'm grateful.

I appreciate the input but I'd prefer to find common ground instead of separation. I just enjoy how my gun handles in my hands and can utilize it for my own protection.

It is scary how many people go to the range once a quarter, shoot a box of ammo from a bench, and leave thinking they will be able to adequately defend themselves. Then they walk around with an uncle mikes holster they've never drawn from and 13-16 rounds of (probably FMJ) on their person. First time I shot a competition, I got one shot off and had a failure to feed. First time I took a carbine class, my FCG blew apart in my lower. Your gear will malfunction or break when you need it most, whether it's taurus or glock, PSA or a $500 lower.
Am I the only one thinking, "What the hell is Joe doing?!?" He almost got caught in friendly fire there! Why would you advance when you have no idea if the suspect is down OR if the passenger(s) is also a threat?
See now this is proper police work. No unaimed mag dumps sending rounds everywhere no panicked officer screaming a couple octaves higher than normal no running away for cover a block away. Just straight into the threat aimed single shots calm clear concise communication and one dead bad guy. Well done! Side note i do believe that officers SUV is armored? Correct me if im wrong but the windshield looks thick and the doors are built up
Some of us still remember when Tucson PD covered up child trafficking at a cemex plant and kicked out VOP (veteran's on patrol). They had the entire site bulldozed within a week and never performed an investigation.
Calling hands up while shooting at the person with an assault rifle........That is culture and civilization and that is a sign of the special intelligence of the police officer and his masters who taught him that way. It is also often seen how people who have been shot by the police are treated as if nothing had happened and that they were still able to do everything without any problems that a person can do without a bullet in their stomach, for example.
