Well, I said I would refund the game because I didn't like it too much, but seeing how you guys are interested in it, I'll make more videos in the upcoming few days! 🙂 Thanks for watching 😃
When i first saw it it looked insane, but the second video i was already, meh. But people praised it immensive. It truly is only the Bodycam view that makes it that realistic, someone made a poor mod in cyberpunk with a bodycam view and its alsmost the same. if u could change how the gun reacts in cyberpunk u could copy it totally and it would not even need more gpu power. Which would be kinda cool in cyberpunk but not tooo much.
it is indeed been gpu development, not sure could be unlocking which means another 2 years, but the cpu is fast now so theres hope but then ram, board, windows, drivers and who knows what else
UE5 is very unoptimalized thats the problem but still they almost double performance from the UE5 version of matrix demo. i quess 6-8 more years and it will have good enough peformance for 2022-2024 GPUs
@@MrBalrogosdevs just need to do optimisations 😂 like my dad makes UE5 games that run on my old laptop that has GT840m ... UE5 is like any other engine you need to make the optimisations yourself
@@MrBalrogos UE is currently one of the fastest, most optimized realtime renderers that exists. It's also among the heaviest simply due to the amount of (well-optimized) features in play, and the games made with it tend to be very heavy because it enables the use of cinema quality assets for a high baseline perf overhead in exchange for great scaling. However a user can simply disable that feature and build with similar assets to what they would use in Unity and remove a lot of the stutter and perf issues, likewise with the lighting system being entirely modular and customizable to heavily optimize for each individual project. As well, UE has brought down the barrier of entry a lot. So a dev doesn't have to be an expert who knows how to optimize everything in order to also make a super realistic game anymore. They don't need talented game artists who understand balancing all this stuff, because they can use assets. Lots of crappy games get made because of this. But UE itself is a beast, it's the developers using it screwing up.
@@ugurinanc5177 u literally revoked ur comment by bringing up fsr. so not 4k. thats worse than dlss. it literally looks noticeably blurry at 4k using fsr. the actual resolution is like half of 4k
@@lenoirx nah, my 3060 manages to run the game great with tweaked settings and a bit of reshade to pop the colors by a tiny bit and add hdr, it's gorgious
@@askeladden450 Yes, relying on being the key words. Nothing wrong even with using SOME pre-made assets I would say, or starting with a pre-made and altering it a bit to make it better / more like what you want exactly... But filling an entire game up with them AKA relying on them is so lame / lazy.
I saw something in a Steam review that when you quit the game, it closes the window but somehow keeps it or another window open so that you run out of your 2 hour refund limit. Not sure if this is actually true but it's very sketchy.
I was thinking the same thing about Rainbow Six: Siege. I think in older titled before all these ray tracing tools- game designers had to put in real work to make the lighting look decent in the game environments. Now they just use an extremely heavy game engine to do that work for them. - this game almost looks like a modified Source engine game to me.. but with better lighting. So many flat surfaces with hard angles.
@@RonniSchmidt-mi7pd Are you high? the 3080 is equivelent to a base 4070. My 7900xt beats both a 3080 and 4070. Even in ray tracing. The only game you can combine fsr and dlss is ghosts of tsushima and that is NOT exclusive to the 3080 lmao.
It's honestly amazing that some people caused outrage for this game saying that it looks too realistic. I was honestly blown away at first too at the beta footage, but I think the beta footage looks better than what's on display...
Wasn't that Unrecord? I think this is a different game that "stole" their concept and got a game out quicker than them. Maybe they changed the name tho?
i blindly made a super powerful 1440p setup with a 4080. Ive heard allot of people say this also; the 4080 is an enthusiast 1440p card, not 4k. it totally can game at 4k though. but if you dont wanna settle with lowered eye candy settings, stay in 2k. Out of all the games out there, theres only a very small handfull that require use of dlss or fsr on a 4080/super to functionally play. even when thats the case, you're not really going under quality. Or my favorite, use dlss and set up super res in near 4k. really sharpens and cleans the image while still not drawing anywhere near the resources of actual 4k res. its like msaa that actually improves the image quality. also sets the upscaling closer to native, so less ai garbling. All that aside, holy shit this game is very real looking. its amazing to see a mmo shooter of any kind running 4080's/90's through their paces.
Have you ever tried bringing the resolution down to 1800p like consules do? I do it all the time with my 6800 when im slightly below 60 frames at 4k. Almost no visual difference but is much smoother
@@anitaremenarova6662it depends how big your monitor is 1440p is good for 27" monitors and below but if you have 32" monitor or bigger 4k is going to make big diffrence
@@anonymous16472 I really don't think so, my vision isn't the greatest so 1080p suffices even on a 32" screen but for people with perfect eyes 1440p is enough since with 32" you don't need to sit as close to it as with 20 something inch screens. 4K is a TV size resolution and I'll stand by that, means most playing on such screens are on console where lower frames don't matter as much when you're using a controller.
Love your videos bruv but just a suggestion that you should make a reddit server so that the viewers can discuss things related to tech stuff and things
Personally, I prefer games that are well optimized, of course, but also don't try to look "realistic", it's enough for me if the game has good textures, colors and light reflections (the finals, for example)
I have no clue why they're even trying to make a multiplayer shooter look realistic, was under the impression this was supposed to be a singleplayer game.
@@mrbobgamingmemes9558 Yea you are right, but on the other hand theres people playing VR First Person Shooters in Multiplayer. Things like that are just gimmicks to me but nothing you would seriously play for hundreds of hours, and i guess 90% of the other people see it like me because otherwise people would be watching movies in VR and 3D when in reality everybody watched/used it 5-10 times and went back to conventional ways because its too much of a hassle and just annoying / not worth it. Bodycam is comparable to a sim racing simulator only playable with a sim racing rig, theres the core fanbase that wants to play it, but everyone else just wants to play with a controller or keyboard and would never touch it again.
Bro I wanna play this game SO BAD, but I am still stuck with a 1660 super which don't get me wrong, I am eternally greatful for and was a major boost from my Ryzen 5 5600's intergrated graphics, but it really is limiting me. Looking forward to eventually picking up a 4080.
I use frame regen and play on a 3060TI. Frame Gen, Fsr Quality, fps set to 60 so that with frame regen it’ll never go below 60fps, can still play high settings just slightly muddier and slight latency. Have to cap fps in this game.
Instead of having two pop filters, just get the pop filter for the sm7b. It fixes the popping and looks more clean in my opinion. Great video btw, new sub here ^^
Dude I'm poor as heck My 3090 is gonna die trying to start this game This is kinda sad and makes realize that my life is miserable and is not what I expected when I was younger Anyway Good for you and your 4060
Epic created a monster caled unreal engine. This performance for the gpu that is been playing at should be at least 4k 60 fps plus not 40. This is bad optimasation.
Don't disagree but Lumen and Nanite were designed to be ran with upscaling, I suspect with the latter the triangle count is absolutely massive at 4k and brings GPUs to their knees. It does stagger you paying £1200 for a 4080 Super and getting low FPS like that at 4k native.
After watching this I switched display res from 3440x1440 to 1080p. Using a 3080 ti and, it is the smoothest thing ever on max settings native 1080p, goddamn bro.

The game has a lot of potential but my computer could barely run the game at 10fps on a 12GB RTX 3060. I wish the best to the developers they are very talented but I think they shouldnt release the game until it can atleast run on most devices
Actually you can choose the map and explore without fighting, you just need to click in "host server". Maybe the game is not that good enough yet, but is still a good benchmark to test Gpu's.
I have a 2070 SC and this game runs *okay* for me. I have to turn down a handful of settings just to get 40 fps... but, it's *okay* and sometimes playable.
@@prikolica3567as someone who switched recently from 1080p to 1440p, the difference is absolutely noticeable and when switching back and forth I can immediately tell
This kind of game doesn't benefit that much from Lumen and Nanite because it is a small static area and the camera filters mask a lot of lighting imperfections. It could perform much better
you should also understand that epic sells their engine because it has the best workflow. The philosophy here is ; "you want results in real time, and want don't want to spend time optimizing your game instead of using your creative mind ? Then use unreal !". So yea this is the future of game dev, and it's a good thing, tho as you can see right now its not to the point where ppl can make the most realistic games with good performance 🤷♂🤷♂.
You are right about this game not being very pretty. Realism is nice in game just to certain extent.... too much of it harms the experience. Also, they went nuts on chromatic aberration, which I hate with burning passion...
can you compare lossless scaling LSFG 2.1 x2 or x3 vs FSR frame gen or DLSS frame gen in game like warzone or any game who support DLSS frame gen or FSR frame gen
There are mods for this for other games like Ghost Recon and Ready or Not and they still run and look at times better, i managed to mod my Ready or not to look like this yet run 90 fps on a RTX 2060 laptop
