Why are police officers in most missions so fierce for the simplest things, as if they are entering a world war? Why don't they act conscientiously? This does not exist in Switzerland or New Zealand
@@Pi1997 because of the US gun laws. Every suspect is potentially armed, therefore officers must be more on edge. Moreover, the US criminal system is very punitive, and negatively skewed for poor people. Therefore, some reoffenders rather go down in a gunfight than back to prison, again meaning that officers need to watch out for their own safety more. Lastly, US officers are (sometimes) not as well trained as officers in Europe. (3 yrs vs 6 months training for example). This means that the skillset is more limited to tactical responses. However, in this case, they seemed relatively well trained, and rightfully on edge since dude was willing to die over a ticket
@@theflyingdutchman6424 I swear it is very sad I don't like to see these scenes in America The regime in Switzerland and New Zealand prohibits weapons, even for the police. They look at the suspect humanely above all else, even if the person is armed. They know how to act and the suspect does not die, unlike America. The people of New Zealand and Switzerland trust the police to a large extent, while in America they trust a very small percentage

The cops didn't understand black privilege means you can fire at officers if you want, because after all they're harassing Dexter because he was black.

I seem to recall the one officer, run down the street, then had to come back up the street to reposition and it was only when the moron headed towards the back of his vehicle, that ole' boy had a line of sight to shoot, otherwise he hadn't shot before that. My Guess is this was her case, which means she took the lead, which means they followed her and let them know what to do next. The guy in the 3 segment who applied the tourniquet is a bad dude. He never ran away like others did. He stayed in the fight. Great mag change, put the suspect down, and still was able to get to the officer who was shot and got the tourniquet on. Amazing work brother.
@avadventuregear alot of places teach high and tight because it's easier to remember to go high when having adrenaline dump instead of trying to precisely apply a tourniquet. Plus,if there is an unseen gsw higher up,the high and tight method takes care of it in one go
@@avadventuregearWith the scene going static, was a tourniquet even necessary for that lower extremity wound? Maybe brachial artery pressure and/or direct pressure may have sufficed. A tourniquet over a heavy sweatshirt may not have been effective enough at occlusion of the blood flow. Definitely looked to be a radius and ulnar fracture from GSW.
Multiple unmarked units aren't looking for seatbelt violations. The seatbelt may have been the legal reason to stop the car, but there is a 100% chance they already knew he had more than that going on in that car. Their hunch turned out to be right.

in the city of Chicago there is a governing civilian body called COPA that usually makes the case against officers, they are going after officer 3 for excessive use of force rn. Hopefully they all get cleared, he is the youngest @ 23
Yeah, except for the fact that he continued to shoot and was the last one to continue shooting as the subject was down... He also ran over and excessively grabbed his partner's wrist and flopped his hand around for no reason, as his partner moaned because he was making the injury more painful than it already was... This whole situation was a shit show.
The adrenaline dump that these poor officers experienced was so extreme. Not only were they being shot at, having to return fire, but one of their own was hit. FOR NO GOOD REASON!!! I could not imagine what their bodies/minds are going through. Gods bless them everyday they go out to protect and serve us all. They even serve the ones who don't want/deserve it.
Cop #3 is a bad ass. Great muzzle discipline, stayed in the fight, kept his eyes on the target till the threat was down, then assisted in injured officers. These cops in Chicago don’t get paid enough. 👏
Literally the only officer there aware of cover. The first two literally ran away from cover and then officer #1 sought cover from a wrought iron fence. WTF.
American's can't call out black crime since they'll be called racist. And black people refuse to hold their own accountable, so the black crime problem persists and honest American's are victimized every day by them.
0:41 Please note, when involved in a shootout with a dangerous suspect, running around screaming and taking cover behind a grating bar fence is not the best strategy
If you’ve gone through police academy and all of the training officers get plus work in Chicago, you sure as hell should know exactly how to react to a situation like this or go find a job working security at a shopping mall parking lot in the suburbs.
but cops are supposed to be trained to be more emotionally fit to withstand the initial FUCKING RUN PANIC that a gunshot brings. How can you trust them to protect you if they can't protect themselves?

I'm from germany, my wife told me she saw on instagram about a shootin in the usa. When she told me the cops shot 96 bullets i was like "okay, there must be a reason for that". This Video shows that it has a pretty fkn good reason.
I'd say that you should be careful with these assumptions. There are videos of officers performing well, and videos of officers performing poorly. This is a case of the former...it's not the biggest mess, but it's definitely not a performance that Chicago can hang their hat on. It should also be noted, that unlike the UK, or Germany...the US is huge, and even inside a state, there is usually a notable difference in terms of how different departments run.
Same here - Czechia. All over the news outlets but they only said he got stopped for not wearing a seatbelt, not that he was a repeat offender whom they were trailing because of other offences. And, uhm, he DID shoot at the po-po.
Officer #3 with the ACRO on his Glock was ON POINT! He performed great under pressure in the moment. Response to fire, his work getting angles of fire, supporting his downed comrade, etc. You can definitely see the post adrenaline crash hit him hard once the danger was over. Haven't been in a firefight like this, but I know what it's like to operate at a high level of speed and awareness in a dangerous situation, then get hit by that crash once the adrenaline is gone. Give that man a raise.
Chicago has more than ten thousand officers, not to mention county, state, and neighboring cities like Cicero. They could absolutely swarm like that if they need to. Just ask Jane Byrne about her stay at Cabrini Green.
That is Chicago P.D. in action. When a 10-1 call goes out EVERYONE goes and that's how it's got to be. "Entire police department......" hardly. CPD has over 12,000 officers. Don't fuck with CPD.

I doubt that! 😳 Would she risk being hit by a stray bullet? That was a great deal of gunfire exchange and *MANY law enforcement officers!* {For a single, violent suspect}. Great the situation was contained with NIL fatalities on the law enforcement side.
I feel for the police here. A lot of bad life choices lead to this shocking incident where the perp loses his life, injures an officer and seems to leave the others with PTSD.
Fun fact: Those people are just as big of pieces of shit as the kid for opening fire on police. They think there's nothing wrong with what he did, let that sink in.
This young man's family claims that he was slain unjustly; yet, they have not seen this footage. The suspect was not following commands and he fired the first round. And keep in mind that he just left a court hearing for the same crime, possession of a firearm, and so on. He decided for himself how he wanted to leave this world. I'm just grateful he didn't take any officers with him when he shot up the entire street.

@@dermediterranehaider4671 what exactly is overkill? When you shoot you are shooting to kill. The point is to to kill the suspect because he is trying to kill them (the police). If people don’t like it they should not shoot at the police in the first place.
This is probably the most shocking Bodycamfootage I have ever seen. I am from Germany, encounters like this didn't happened often over here, but sadly they rise. In May, a 29 year old Officer was stabbed. He had no chance to react because he was stabbed in the neck from behind while he was fixating another person on the ground. Seeing all those cops, in shock, in panic, swearing - it shows how much it hit them in their hearts that they had to shoot. I hope they'll all recover somehow from that traumatizing situation. 🙏

The shooting is justified. The traffic stop will be questionable. An unmarked unit pulling someone over for a seatbelt violation.
