The apartment complex should have dealt with her. She was a menace to society plain and simple. Any rational person could have predicted that this woman would ultimately seriously hurt someone.
It looks like she lives in a duplex? This isn't even her own home and she's probably angry she can't afford her own home and has to live among minorities. She doesn't have private property here. It's like saying you're renting an apartment and the area around it is your property is your private property but it's not your private property. It's not! You occupy the unit not the land. Her hateful intolerance now has her in a place where she's around even more minorities and even more noise. The woman isn't bright on top of being evil. She's right where she belongs.
I see folks in the comments cheering this act of violence on, and blaming CHILDREN for being OUTSIDE playing. Heres a newsflash......when you reside in a NEIGHBORHOOD that includes families and children, those children will INEVITABLY behave like children and go outside and PLAY. Each and every person in these comments was omce a child who played outside...i know what youre gonna say next "yeah but i was a respectful, angel of a child"...mmykay...do you have any REAL PROOF (except for the words of the shooter) that these children werent respectful? And even if they WERENT, any normal human being dealing with kids knows theres only so much you can do about kids playing and being loud....at some point if it bothers you THAT MUCH perhaps you should select a retirement community where children dont reside. Just listen to her discussions in all her interactions with police...EVERY THING SHE COMPLAINED ABOUT was basic simple childrens behaviour....the person who escalated things was HER by repeatedly calling authorities over children playing, repeatedly engaging in arguments with her neighbors over kids playing and in general being a stick in the mud. You folks making tongue in cheek comments that imply the race of the children playing is why this happened are horrible....but im glad yall feel so comfortable commenting...it lets me know what a percentage of people roaming this world REALLY think deep down. Now she can spend the rest of her years in a noisy cell block,and the day will come when being in her home hearing those children playing outside will be like a sweet dream she wishes she can return to.

Why not just play in your own area and stop scaring the elderly lady. The entire situation was 100% preventable with parent supervision and common sense.
This is crazy. Growing up there was one person in the neighborhood that didnt want any of us kids in his yard. Sometimes a baseball or soccer ball would roll or land in his yard. he was a very grumpy old Italian man. At most he would tell our parents who would scold us. can't imagine something like this happening.

She should have put a Trump sign and 2A flags all over her place. None of them would bother her then. I had weird neighbors who would let their kids play all throughout the neighborhood, acting up and being bratty. They would come on my yard and generally be terrors. The moment I put up those flags, they stayed away.
This lady thinks she is in a much higher income bracket, that of someone who can afford to own her apartment building, have tenants she can control or none at all and the ability to own a field. I can’t afford any of these things and neither can she.

Asking the kids to play elsewhere was not to much to ask considering the lady did work by phone & told people that !!! Oh please. Susan spent a lot of her time filming the children. She also said that she would raise her window. If the children were making so much noise why would she have the window raised and even then she could have purchased some noise-cancelling headphones--I am sure that her work would have paid for them.
Having been in Marion County jail for almost a month she's no longer alone. She's learning to interact peacefully with diverse populations and her tolerance of noise has surely improved.

She shot that lady without ANY justification. She wanted a reason to shoot her. That field is public space. She was literally being a miserable Karen and the police have to respond to every call no matter what and they too were getting frustrated with these unnecessary calls.
Very sad, but she still should not have walked up to the door of a nut like this, knowing it's Florida and she might have a gun and "stand her ground". She had already indicated her dislike of black people before the murder, so trying to reason with her was not a good idea.

If I were the defense attorney, I think I would first attempt to get the venue changed, due to these rather ham-handed attempts to prejudice any local jury... I can understand if they released the Ring footage, as it would be exculpatory, one way or another, but these "Karen" videos? The video of the cop walking away, muttering "Psycho..." obviously should not have seen the light of day before a jury saw it, period. -- meowMeowmeow.
That jurisdiction/venue has the right to prosecute its alleged killers. Also why wouldn't you want the full story? Before this video came out im sure you thought she was a nice old lady and the Black children and lawyers were lying about how crazy the lady was.

The personal views & feelings of random people aren't facts that make up a "full story" which is why it's excluded in a court of law. However, it can influence the opinion of the public which is mostly ignorant people who can be easily convinced of anything & from these people the jurors will be chosen. I'd ask if you can see the problem with that but I already know the answer.
The mother of one of the kids who tormented this old lady said about her daughter, "Mom, Karen is calling the police on us again" then continued to berate the women rather than say to her child, "you need to have respect for people", etc. Can you imagine a neighbourhood of fatherless uncontrollable kids being purposely sent to play outside your house? Kids calling her Karen and people in the comments isn't really taking the moral high ground.. Also, she is right about the dog.. It's supposed to be on a leash while not near a person's property barking at them.. I mean what she did is probably wrong, I don't know the whole case but it seems like she made some noise complaints and the police seem to ignore them.. They could have avoided the whole situation by just following the laws from the beginning.. When you have kids calling elderly Karen that's when you know you messed up as a parent because that is not proper.. I'm going to say, I heard those kids saying words that were bleeped out. When talking about her. She may have been disrespected for awile. Older folks know from there past how kids use to behave. No she is charged. The mother came to her door (with her kid, yeah responsible), and yelled “i know you’re in there”. Homeowner felt threatened and shot through her door. The woman at the door died. And those are the facts.
