Ganyan kasi ang mga Pinoy, mahilig sa carbon copy. Mori has her own style at hindi niya kailangang gayahin si Whitney. She's a way more versatile singer than Charice ever was.
For me, nothing replaces of Charise Pempengco version of this song, "I will always love you," and "I have nothing" by Withney Houston. Even Morissette and Katherine McPhee are not enough to level the Charise versions. Charise has an amazing voice. She had a wide vocal range when she used to sing a song by Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. But sadly, Charise has already died.😢

Of course Charice can slay Whitney Houston songs since she's her inspiration while Mori, tried singing Whitney's songs even if she admitted that her inspiration is Mariah Carey which is very evident in her vocal techniques. So wag pagkumparahin ang magkaibang style ng pagkanta dahil malamang magkaiba talaga yan. I observed here was, Filipinos really are way comfortable and natural in singing. Foreign singers, you can tell they're so technical conscious while singing live. They're over thinking about their voice technique while performing live. While Filipino singers just sing their heart out. Feeling the song and you can feel the emotion through their voice and physical expressions. Like they're in the zone. Like KZ Tandingan in Singer 2018 while she performs 'Say Something'. They're not worried about their voice going off pitch or anything, they just sing and feel the song. And as an audience you can feel the emotion. Maybe because foreign singers learn how to sing by having a vocal coach and the presence of studio. While Filipinos just sing anytime and anywhere by the time they know how to speak and singing along with anything in radio or TV. They mimick what they hear and add flavor on their own. Vocal coach is not a thing here in PH. Yes in TV shows like "The voice". But it's rare to hire a vocal coach and spend money for it.
Not every foreign singer is like this. It's just Katherine might be too tired of touring. A lot of foreign singers with gospel influence/background could outsing Filipinos. THEY STUDIED VOICE and that's set them apart from Filipino singers who think raw talent is enough to make them big.

Sorry, she didn't relinquish the crown to mori, mori has her own way of singing which charice can't do, but in fairness charice did better than mori with this song. Maraming pilipino ang magaling kumanta isa lang sila sa mga ito.

This is how powerful Morisette is. Other artists fans are afraid of Morisette replacing their Idol but literally no one is replacing Charice. Pero kung ordinary artist lang si Mori, Wala Kang maririnig sa mga tao kundi praises and proud being Filipino. Morisette deserve the hotspot that Charice didn't treasure, Mori is a hard worker and talented human being. Beautiful inside and out. Fly high QUEEN MORISETTE.
Yes, Charice was a great belter (the number one skill for Filipinos). Morissette is just a better and more versatile singer. Just enjoy what you have now, no what you had.

In other words, Charice was like Whitney, but Morissette is like Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Regine, Lea, all in one.
