Bodyguard training in the UK in the 1990s

I did their training in 1998! I was only 18 lol, loads of ex military on the course. Jim Brown was MD, Andy was the main Instructor I remember. Geoffrey Thompson was a guest instructor. Great times! I’ve been looking everywhere for this video! If anyone from my course is on here please say hello!

I did the basic bodyguard skills with Excel Protection in 2000 - James Brown was their MD (they were part of Excel Security Ltd). We had Andy as our instructor - I think he'd preferred us as 'squaddies' as it was like being in the Army lol - wasn't impressed with the professionalism when I did the course - way too much of "We are the experts, so shut up" attitude going on - very egotistical bunch. It cost £150 for 2 days - - just got shouted at a lot and did walking drills. Didn't fancy life in Close Protection, so ended up working for First Security Guards and then as a Hospitality Manager - I can now command a salary of £50k plus easily - so much for their training as I earn far more. This was a Channel 4 Cutting Edge Production.
