as a surfer who has been out in waves like this, I have to say this dude is next level, I would never do anything like that without a board that can outrun the face. MASSIVE respect.
It great fun you use.the.butterfly to shot.out in front then barrel arms back legs to steer so where out there is one.of me shooting a 16 ft wave body.surfing this.fellas a joy to watch pity my.back got.crushed we got.taught by old buggers who swam with sharks long before boards could move about and love big.surf Mind over sand not.rock lol this.is
My brother and I body-surfed the huge 30-foot waves during the Sydney storm in May 1974. I was 13 and he was 18. We had no fear as we are both Autistic and the Ocean was our home. It was AWESOME!
I'm autistic too, and I've surfed and sailed all my life. The ocean and mountains make sense to me. So does music. People and society? Not so much. Rock on brother(s)!
I've been surfing 50 years no little bit more and when my beloved bonzer broke I spent my time getting tubed body surfing it was unbelievable! 8 to 10 ft barrels offshore blowing it 15 mph I was in tube heaven!
The kids and I were bodysurfing some decent sized waves this afternoon here in Sydney, feeling pretty stoked... until we see how pathethically small our surf was next to these monsters! Huge respect and cheers from Oz - Dave
An awesome and huge respect from france, you are absolutely epic to watch, if there is one guy in the world who is the real aquamen it's you. Probably didnt seen somthing as this epic for years
Wow! What did I just see. A madman out for a stroll? This level of bravado- it's one step away from wingsuit flying. Also, that kind of tense, edgy and dramatic music is very appropriate. Only someone who bodysurfs 15m barrels will know for sure. This chico-very impressive!!
I was watching his form on the waves he’s a phenomenal swimmer. Glad to see he wears a inflatable vest too. Too crazy for me. Just the impact of going down the face on your belly can knock the wind out of you.
much respect from the southern ocean I too know the feeling of being crushed by the ocean but bodysurfing solid waves takes extreme fitness and skill bravo very solid effort
I was stuck between nostalgic smileing, being really impressed with that one run and horror. Nothing sux more than riding the edge of the crash and it start breaking in front of you and you're still 10 feet in the air. Let alone this madman riding in front of it. Next level for sure.
Fantastique. J’adore, respect! Quel courage et quel talent. De toute beauté quand tu traverses la vague et surgit dressé tél Poseidon. T’étais ces murs d’eau descendus comme un immense toboggan!! Merci
How this man isn't a world wide attraction I don't know. I have body surfed 9feet waves and got smashed to bits... Those waves must be 25ft? But the angles he takes and the height he maintains allows him to stay above the break... Mind boggling and balls like melons.
