So confused how this is supposed to be a "Long project" with Potter yet he continously starts Ziyech over Mudryk or Madueke, when he's not even supposed to be a Chelsea player right now? He's managed too turn Reece James who was one of our best attacking options under lampard and tuchel into a stagnant RB that doesn't get forward until we're losing. Every player has gotten worse under him. Those that were having okay season have become abysmal. Mount now look like a championship player( our best player for two seasons) as frugal as Kai was infront of the goal, at least he scored he was scoring sparingly. Not a Chelsea fan at all and part of me thinks the talent and depth you have should be enough to win games regardless of who’s managing. Spurs are winning with their assistant coach at the moment! I don’t think Potter is a bad manager, but I think Chelsea exposed his inexperience and maybe revealed that, at this point in his career, he’s better as a manager that squeezes the most out of young and inexperienced or average veterans. He’s not ready to manage stars and egos just yet. I think this shows how it’s actually not easy managing a team swimming with talent like Pep does at MC. Potter is literally looking at a roster full of talent and it’s overwhelming. Like walking down the cereal isle and seeing 50 options. Your brain freezes.

I said it over and over. still dont get any tactics or plans here from Potter. 1) Whats the magic there keeping Kai and Ziyech on the starting 11? I am watching the game, I really don't understand what Zakaria came in to do, subbing Ziyech was OK because of the red card issue, but he also help in defending. Personally I would have taken out Ruben and Havertz for Mount and Aubameyang, switch to a 4-3-3, overload the attacking 3rd, because I'm not sure how many touches we had inside the box, I don't even want to mention Havertz, because I don't know if he even had one or two. How do people say we don't have a striker, Aubameyang and David Fofana are in the squad but what is Potter's hatred for these two players.He subs them even when they are the better players on the field. It's like his substitutions are pre arranged irrespective of the result of the game.
