On the 4th of June 2013, a newly delivered Thomson Boeing 787-8, whilst on a crew training flight, made the first ever landing and take-off of the type in Scotland at Glasgow-Prestwick Airport. Filmed by Allen McLaughlin 2013.

The baby was born prematurely, weighing 1lb. It was delivered by an air hostess on a First Choice flight in 2007
