As a retired driver for another carrier - out of BOG to LAX the flight crew of an Avianca 787 let me sit in the jump seat for taxi, up to cruise FL350. First time up front in one during flight - sweet. Captain, after they completed their pre-takeoff checklist, mentioned that his center PFD indicated a problem -with cabin pressure (lower right bottom corner) - annunciator markings were in red indicating cabin pressure of 8300’ - he said that ground personnel were looking at the problem. After a bit I realized that the 78’s pressurize at 6000’ - mentioned it to the captain - He laughed saying “that not many get that” - cabin pressure annunciator settled to 6K a bit after take-off...BOG being at 8300' ASL.

43,000 ft altitude for a 1 hour 20 flight? Never realized airliners would go that high for such a relatively short flight.

@5:27 ... Once again we check the struts and make sure there are no leakages and they are clean. Checks struts and they are leaking 😂

Why do they want to hide the best front landing view and show the other views that you cannot see anything.

So odd that the captain handled the takeoff and the first officer handled the landing. In the US the captain and first officer alternate legs but they handle both the takeoff and the landing.
