I am an Airbus fan but I am not much of a Boeing hater. Without them, we would not have competition. Companies won't do their best. Thanks to Boeing and all other aircraft manufacturer, we all strive and work harder for a better and safer airspace and for better efficient planes together. Happy Birthday Boeing and I hope that you lads also start respecting Airbus. Oh but don't forget, without Airbus, we won't have the late modern aviation technology which is why I love Airbus. Sure I may prefer Airbus but I certainly do not hate Boeing aircraft.
@@MelanieTinezy can the car maintain a stable and leveled flight with fully operational flight controls while also being able to safely operate and land smoothly?
My great great uncle worked for Boeing in the 1960s he even got to work on the first 737 ever (APU and more) he also worked on 727s at Boeing field and Renton
Came here for two things: 1. The Boeing Aircraft are amazing, and I prefer Boeing regardless 2. Sadly, in 2019, Boeing has sold just 400 aircraft because of the 737 MAX situation and the 777X problems.... stay strong ✈️🇺🇸
Golden BlockerYT I know that. Alhough not Boeing-made the MDC history is also incorporated into Boeing because of the 1997 stock swap. Basically, Boeing now owns the blueprints, FAA Certificates, O&D history, and copyright to any previous works of MDC
@Derya Baygan-Robinett Just a clarification, 737-100 and -200 is original. -300 -400 and -500 is classic, -600 to -900 is NextGen and the MAX is, well, max. Right?
Where are B747 100, b747 200, b747 300, airbus a380, b747 special porfenmce, b747 space shuttle carrier, b747 400F, antonov ann 225, b747 short range, b747 100-400 combi and b737 combi?
blackthored An 225 is not Boeing. Though it’s a really cool aircraft and should be shown in these kind of videos this one is just a *BRIEF* history of Boeing aircrafts. And the 737 and 747 variants you named are just types of them. And remember this is just a *brief* history
@@SBSL-bf8cq a380 is an airbus and this video is about boeing history the first boeing 747 has been retired and they are planning to stop operate the 747-400 and replaced as a new 747 called 747-8i
Great video, Boeing switched to 7 series planes not long after wwll to honor the success of the B52 during the war the seven comes from adding the 5 & 2. 727, 737, 747, 757. Ect.
3:03 ah yes, the 777, my favorite plane of all in the entire world, definetly Edit: it's the 300ER variant, which is NOT on the list, but anyways, it is a 777 (launch year: 2003, First flight, February 24th, 2003)
I love boeing a lot but same goes for Airbus since I love both. But this is amazing. Idk what's your guys favorite boeing aircraft but my favorite mostly is the 747 and the rest of them.
at 2:47, you said the 767, from 1981, was the first two-person flight deck on a widebody airplane. Acutually, the airbus a300, first flown in 1972, was the first to have only two people on its flight deck.
Don't any of you great guys remember the Boeing 720? It followed the 707, and effectively killed the Convair 880. Also, at 1:35 that isn't a DC-4, which had oval windows. Square windows came later on the DC-6, and DC-7.
I’ve flown twice on the 747 Glasgow to Toronto return I enjoyed especially on the outbound I got upgraded and I was sitting in seat number 61J i loved walking up that spiral staircase it was 1993 and she was a 200 series I’m sure I still have my boarding card stub with seat 61 J on it happy memories it was air Canada greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 I’ve flown on other Boeing aircraft too but only twice on the beautiful 747 I fulfilled my dream
I really love Boeing and d.c 10 my *tears drops* and dash and 707 d.c and 727 737 d.c10 and 767 and all of Airbus and airlines the plane's say's we all do to you Jeroadion we love happy easter weekend
It is the replacememt for the 757, but most airlines still use the 757 as it is very fuel efficient and cockpit upgrades aren't that expensive for the 757.
Boeing bought out McDonnell-Douglas in the 1990s (or somewhere thereabouts), hence, the Boeing 717 being derived from the MD-80 (which, in turn, was derived from the DC-9).
Steve Nugget But Boeing bought McDonnel Douglas in the 90's. What you're saying is the same as Trump taking credit over everything Obama and all other presidents did beacuse he is the current president. Trump as Boeing and McDonnel D as Obama (Bad example but you get the point).
respect to aviation and i love every aircraft may it be boeing, airbus, ilyushin, comac, tupolev, embraer, atr and any other company locheed martin, mcdonnell douglas all respect. AVIATION rocks !!!!
