BOG Deathgrip Infinite Tripod | First impressions 

Thanks man! Figured I could show the versatility of the tripod with something other than precision rifle.

@@AlabamaVeteran Shot (3) Different Rifles off of it. Ar15/ar10 in .308/Ruger American also .308 and shot Standing, kneeling and prone out to 400yds….two words: Cheat-ing lol. Cannot believe I waited this long and now I’m hooked!! Can’t use it for North Idaho Elk tho as it’s super steep here and extra weight in my pack =‘s extra pain 👍🏼

Hey man. Thanks! There are a few things to consider. I'm not sure of the price of a portable shooting table, but remember that even after you get the table, you have to look at some way to stablize/rest for the shot. For simplicity and cost, I would definitely go with a quality Tripod with mounting system. This one, the BOG Deathgrip Infinite is definitely full of features at a lower price point. But they can go well above the 2k price point for a quality one. It comes down to you. What you want and how much you willing to spend. But overall yes I'd buy a quality tripod over a portable shooting table. Oh and check out CMP Talladega marksmanship range. Pretty decent shooting range.

The range in that video is at the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park in Talladega. First distance was at 100, and second one was hitting a steel plate on their unknown distance range.

@yuriorlov47 about a hour or so, just head south on 77. Actually it's just off Racetrack Bvld behind the track. I recently moved up to Shoals Area in North West Alabama so don't get down there as much.

I'm going to do a follow-up here in the very near future. Got some things (good and bad) I've learned

It's a sub $400 tripod and Hog saddle. I'd say it's for the shooter that wants a setup, but either A. Can't afford it. B. Don't see the need to spend $1,200 and up for their applications, or C. Just a novelty item they can play with until they know if they want to spend some real money on a nice one.
