We do have to have plants. Have portable wicking containers garden, several designs to incorporate our plants and pets. Would love to have a builder like this gentleman and his lady, but I don't have the social accounts, allergic to social media, LoL. Have a budget, kids, pets, plants and dreams. End of a twenty years nursing career, now I want to live, travel, meet people and have a meaningful life in my sunset years. Training to be a CPR instructor, learning sustainable life skills. Shopping for a bus now, have most of the fittings and the rest will fall into place, the siren song of the nomad life is strong with us.
Plants are a must have, for me! They make any space feel more homey, natural energy, brings the outdoors, inside, allows you to grow edibles, and adds beautiful shades of green to the interior. I ❤ Plants! I really like their vision of not setting a price but working within someone's means and seeing what they can do for them with what they've got. Great way to be. This build is beautiful too. Do they build tiny homes? If so, and with that same philosophy I'd definitely keep them in mind when I'm ready to jump on that.

Agreed! Having lived in a fifth wheel for a year. I found I wanted a single unit and wanted that connection and flow. Plus save money on having to repair and license both truck and camper. So last year I started searching and looking at RV's, but the more I research, the more I am drawn to converting a bus! Not only for better pricing but just the fact that I can completely customize my floor plan and functionality that fits me! I am now convinced a converted bus is the only way to go.
Wow great build and color scheme - that hidden panel access behind the stove is excellent & I think this idea should be used more frequently as it so useful!

My partner doesn't want to live tiny and I respect that. It's also pretty hard to find a base here in the UK, esp with static jobs like me. But I love how much joy others get from this
I reckon in the next twenty years we are all going to live this way (( like gypsies ) because the world is changing so fast keep your food up and medicines as well we don’t know what’s going to happen these days or the next just keep an open eye for these lovely homes 🏠 your husband might even grow to like them, take a holiday in one ,people are buying them to rent as holiday flats they can travel around in , all the best from us in Australia .
This sort of lifestyle is getting increasingly popular in the UK! My neighbourhood has loads of camper vans and box truck builds parked around. There was a guy down the street from me a few years back that lived in a horse trailer. I kinda wondered why there was a horse trailer in a residential area until one day the door was open and I seen him chopping veg in his built out kitchen haha.
"It's not about how much you have in your pocket, but how much you have in your heart." That's a lovely way to put it. I really hope that this becomes the norm!

Nice thought for having a non business attitude but you'll have a lot of problems that way. There's going to have to be a basic price. You could do budget levels And possibly have tradeoff for labor that they help you..
7:35 I’ve got the same fridge in my bedroom lol! Christmas present from my family-was gonna get just a cheap mini fridge but this one was on sale for $150, just about $30 more than the mini so they said fuck it and got the full sized.
You can get couch protectors at Walmart that provide better coverage than most blankets (and stay in place). We spent less than $40 on ours. Our dog hasn't been able to strip it off yet.

I love that bus build. My dream has always been a houseboat version where the bus could be driven on and off the hull. The refrigerator surprised me as I just bought us a Galanz combination microwave oven that's also a convection oven and air frier. It's got a French Fries button 😍 My Wife was sceptical at first as it has no number buttons but it turns out to have plus and minus seconds (10 second increments) and minutes buttons. Guess what we need next and now I know they make them.

I LOVE this... feel my next project will be THAT. Right now stuck in lockdown in Germany, prohibited from working in my Pilates Studio basically since one year. Only online classes. I swore myself: if I am not 'allowed' to open my studio by end of May, i will go off grid/grip and go wherever I like!!!
It's wonderful that you are doing this and I only wish we could have done it or you're in our life but we were so involved in our kids lives and the community and really didn't take time. We always had dreams but I guess it our age that's what we have now or just dreams. When I married my husband I told him I would be happy with a little log cabin or such in the woods with a little streamer pond with fish and of course we never made it. I was a farm girl growing up so that would have been ideal for me and I even love the taste of well water out of a pail and ladle ❣️🙏🤗

Nice bus, but I just have problem to understand ppl that live in small spaces and do not take their shoes off. Actually I can not understand people who do not take shoes of in the house.

wonderfully cozy home. And plants add so much that some people do not understand. I have seen several who are so intent on having their bus or whatever sterile to the point of being too clean.
I just love this bus! We would have to really downsize but need to anyway! Our problem is that we both have trouble walking and are very old now! I especially love all the plants and the hominess ❣️🙏🤗
