@@pantelisdalezios811 if you look at early videos of marc (long before he became famous) from '07-08, you'll notice that he just naturally sounds like freddie. this is backed by audio spectrum analysis; while he probably tries to emulate the style a bit more (as you tend to do with cover bands), his voice is just naturally similar

Yeah cuz in concerts Mercury sounds different, i'm sure better than studio , so marc always sounds like the original audio record my pov!

Because they're in a theatre Marc does not need to project his voice out like Freddie would at an outside concert with 10,000+ of an audience. Thus Marc sound's just like Freddie in the studio since the speakers can project his voice loudly indoors.

It’s possible that the reason Queen didn’t usually do the operatic section is because it’s one of the harder part in the songs. There’s one video where they actually do the operatic section on YT.

Honestly, you're right! Part of the reason why he sounds so much like Freddie (aside from his amazing musical skill) is that he shares similar physical features to Freddie such jaw and head structure. This gives him a very similar resonance cavity to Freddie which is why he sounds so much like him. If Marc and Freddie were brass instruments, they would look almost identical in size, shape, etc! Lambert sounds more like a small wind instrument like a clarinet or something xD

And he really is that humble, and shy off stage. Having been a songwriter and performer before Queen , lending himself to Freddie's memory and making it the best he can for the fans who crave the nostalgia of real Queen music live, is something only someone as humble as he is could have done as well as he has.. Marc is a consummate musician who loved, like all songwriter/musicians do, singing and playing [guitar] his own music with his first band for a dozen or so years . Singing someone else's music for a living isn't what a creative soul envisions the direction of their career going. Fortunately Marc has managed an original solo album, and many other non Queen projects and collaborations , to keep his creativity alive. Most of us are hoping that he will eventually do another original album some time soon .

Probably because of the fact that back in the day of freddy mercury, they did not have the in ear monitor.. Nowadays every singer uses these. Maybe freddy didnt want to take the risk to mess up his c5 note.
