Part for me is that it’s encouraging to know that it’s gonna take time. I pressure myself into thinking that I need to be done at a certain time and I think that’s part of my problem with reading my own hair, braiding my daughters hair and braiding people that I know that want me to do their hair. I get a little about the time, but I also know that I do really well when I take my time. So now I know it’s gonna take time to braid your hair and a lot of that makes me feel a lot better and I think I will be way more encouraged to doing other peoples hair and to not worry about the time it’s gonna take and I’m going to do my hair, especially in my daughters hair. I'm so meticulous on my parting too, and this style is 🔥! I will live vicariously through you because I know I don't have the time or patience to do all that. Plus I'm a slow braider. I'll stick with my kinky twists, which usually take me about 6 to 7 hours. Tfs!

I just installed Boho Soft Locs so I feel your pain! I washed, blow dried parted and loose plated my hair 1 day and did the install over the next 2 days….about 15 hours total for the actual install. I went on a cruise, played in the ocean and Im over it, lol, taking them out now, smh! Great content. Thank you for sharing❤❤❤.

I LOVE your video - came for the styling tips and stayed for the commentary, lol ❤️ love all the commentary & honest dialogue and super helpful tips. I just did my daughter's hair the past weekend - my first time EVER braiding in extensions and it was a struggle because its so time consuming, even without making mistakes but such a gratifying accomplishment. Okayyyyy friend! I hear you! That’s what’s up you did these! 🥰😎 I’m totally in love with boho braids of any kind. That’s a good question because if you wash them you may lose the original curl pattern. 1. Get a spray bottle and try wetting just one braid and see how it dry. If you don’t like it/ lose the curl pattern 2. Try using dry shampoo( I got mine from Ross $4). That’s what I did for my last braided style when I used loose wave human hair. It was weighed down by so much oil I put on my scalp but that dry shampoo did it! Fluffed it right back up w/o losing the curl 💕

And listen when it comes to doing my own hair, especially my own hair, if I got a little dip here and there I don’t trip no more I ain’t gonna trip. Now, if I am doing someone else’s hair, then I will make sure it is straight, but if it’s my hair, I’m not even bout to trip. Yeah I’m telling you this is really helpful. Thank you. 😂😂😂 mmmm Chipotle!! Yea girl get you some of that with a Coke on the side! And yes when it comes to my parts I can get real anal lol however sometimes I’m a little bipolar with it because sometimes I part and keep going then other times I will redo a section over and over. But Sis let me tell you I have a detailed parting video coming up so make sure you watch it, give me about 2 wks to catch up on editing and it will be out! I even think I’m going to make a parting series because this last parting video was for extra small then I’ll also do one on small, med, large ect lol. 💕

I can never part my hair in straight rows, there's always an area that dips and it's usually my right side. Plus the one time i pre-parted i swear it doubled the time from just going off the cuff if you will.
