U have the coolest tools ⚒️ ! I’ve never seen one of those pipe twisty things . I mean I have ONE & it Stinks but not only does yours work but it comes with all those different size tubes ! Like HOW COOL IS THAT?!!!
Hi, I got my tube turning years ago at a quilt show. It sat in my sewing room for years and then I saw a youtube video on how to use it. Light bulb moment! I'm so glad I purchased it when I did. It's a pricy gadget now. Thanks for watching, Julia
Hi Julia, my goodness I thought you were filming from my living room table at first😀😀😀. What fabulous stash busters I love them. These would be fabulous stocking fillers and I am sure they would do really well at craft markets, so saleable. I went to a wonderful workshop today Julia with a really inspiring young lady called Jessie Chorley. She has a little shop in London and does workshops all over the world. She handstitches textiles and uses very old fabrics, threads, papers, in fact any little scraps to produce stunning pieces all telling a story. She was showing us how to write using only one thread and then couching it with a second colour, the effect was really precise and effective. However the downside is it takes a long time. Her work was quirky and fun like yours Julia, I am sure you would have enjoyed it. I hope you are enjoying a relaxing weekend. Fabulous vlog as always Julia. Sending you all my love xxxxxxx Dorothy 🙋🏻😘❤️🌟
Oh wow, that's neat! Honestly, I have purchased many different types of tube turners over the years, and I do think that this one is the best. I LOVE these bracelets, Julia. I must have one =) I'm going to start one today, along with a lot of other things, but this will be fun to wear right away. You are so inspirational I always find something I want to do.
Hi Julia, Thank you yet again for another creative and inspiring video. I look forward to your notification---there's a new uploaded video!Thank you for your time, commitment, and creativity. You are an inspiration to everyone. Have you adjusted to no longer "sewing in the dark?" 😊....Lucretia
Yes- they are an investment. I purchased mine 10 years ago at a sewing expo. They had a class and were running a promotion on different notions and gadgets. I am glad I bought them when I did. Now I have to use them more:)
Hello, I am new subs and thank for showing beautiful craft and imagination to sewing anything in fabric cause I have lots of leftover fabric and don't know what to do it but you show anything wonderful creative which I can know what to do with it now :) Thank :) keep going and never stop to creative things
Hi Angel, I am so glad you are finding my videos inspirational. Thank you so much for watching. I use a quilting foot. It is sometimes called a free motion foot or a darner foot. The foot sits slightly above your fabric making it easy to move the fabric. Drop your feed dogs. Hope this helps. Free motion stitching is a lot of fun and has opened lots of doors for me:) Julia
Dear Teresa, Julia has put a link to her etsy-shop in the discription box. You can see her prices there and all the other wonderful things that she has created. Yours, Swantje
