I think of those whose body parts, and finally the temple of their skull was drilled in a club basement at night after a long torture session when I listen to this band.
11:38 Ow, my ears! Those frequencies there were slightly too loud! While I'm commenting I'll say I find this is very relaxing and I think the band itself is great!
It made the glass shake in my minibar. Just got home from a friend's birthday party. I live an hour away to be closer to work. Long drive home and arrived back to my empty house. Sat in my living room alone in the dark mystified by how calm it is. Loneliness is a choice, sure, but ultimately a choice made out of necessity.
Sorry I misundestood. I thought you had mentioned to hisholyinquisition some other jazz noir bands. Not just being smart ass. Because there surely are other bands with similar sound.
Who's being a nazi about genres? Has ignorance has come full circle to people being even more obsessive about being anti-genre now than those who nit-pick into trees of sub-sub-sub-genres? There's nothing wrong with classifying music as it's helpful. However, it does get really stupid when people actually argue over the facets of genres and close their minds/ears to the music itself.
