The slow build up in the second movement until 7:12 when it leads to an explosion of sound is absolutely stunning.

So beautiful! Didn't know it before. I hope some day I can play it

at last. one of the greats in vln.vla rep. found a vln to play it with! My viola teacher, AUS Charmian Gadd recorded this maybe 30 years ago with Yitzakh Schotten. I've lost my copy. Thanks ....we'll get on this right away Douglas Gunderson, viola, piano, organ, guitar, recorders etc.....
