Walk around the island village, Seto Inland Sea, Bohze Island (Hyogo Prefecture) / A huge dense fishing village where motorcycles run around
Boze Island
Ieshima Islands It is located 1.5km southwest of Ieshima. After Ieshima, the population is the only one in the archipelago that is increasing. Blessed with good natural fishing grounds, the island has a thriving fishing industry and boasts one of the highest catches in Hyogo prefecture. Most of the catch is landed at the Mega Fishing Port on the mainland side, and live fish and fresh fish are transported to Himeji City and Keihanshin for consumption. In addition, the fishery cooperative is actively promoting "creating and nurturing fisheries" such as intermediate breeding, promoting branding of boze mackerel, boze gani, etc. in order to prevent food from leaving fish, and wives. We are focusing on popularizing fish food and stabilizing fish prices, such as developing large direct sales stores at the deer fishing port and engaging in tourism fishing. It is said that the island name was given because a monk named Kakuen was exiled from a temple on Mt. Hiei in 883, and dozens of disciples came to the island in love with his teacher Kakuen. It is one of the best fishing settlements on the islands of the whole country, and many young successors make U-turns. (Reference for "Shimadas")
The settlement is formed on a hill because the terrain has almost no flat land on the coastline. Therefore, although it is densely packed as a typical fishing village, each one is very good because it is rich in fishing. And the characteristic of this island is the maintenance of roads. Even though it is a road, it is not something that a car can enter, and there are endless narrow roads on which motorcycles can run. This is rare in densely sloping settlements. However, it is dangerous because the motorcycle runs up the slope with tremendous force while walking.
