low pressure on a combi boiler and can’t top up? there could be several reasons... here are the most common (in my experience) - if in doubt then call someone out www.combicert.co.uk
I had the problem with the valve not turning. Was scared to take off the switch until I watched this video. Now my heating works again. Many thanks for giving me the confidence to tackle it on my own. Was £200 otherwise to get someone out.
Thank you so much …really informative…the little black lever is broken..does it have a name so I can get a new one please? Hve a great week, you’ve been so calmly helpful!! 😊
Well - if i were you i’d probably just take the lever to screwfix/a plumbers merchants like wolseley/plumber centre and explain… they’ll probably just sell you an isolator with a lever on for a couple of quid. Just swap the lever over and ditch the metal bit. Hope that helps. Have a good one
How about this, my filling loop makes a gushing noise for about 3 seconds then stops making that noise, pressure doesn't go up straight away but when I come back to it after about 10 mins the pressure is up....I also have a banging noise coming from my pipes.... suggestions?
need some advice... my bolier was working perfectly... had it serviced and still working but noticed the top up valve was very slow at topping up. I did notice it was leaking so got the loop replaced next service. Still takes a while for the dial to move when I bled radiators and topped up again. Any advice.
I know this is a fairly old video But I have an issue were my heating isn't coming on but Water heats up fine so boiler does fire up Low pressure but tried to re pressure and the water then stoped no sound as if its full It is a biasi (stop light flashing green)
My dad was a gas engineer but passed a couple of years ago, I am at his property now and there is no pressure in the boiler, it’s quite new we have lost hot water and heating. I’ve tried to top the system up but there is no water coming out. Going to try this. Thanks very much Amanda
@@petegasguy Thanks very much Pete truly appreciated but I have phoned my mum now and we have someone coming in let’s just hope my instincts are correct and it’s just something silly. Keep up the great work more people like you are needed. Amanda
@@cv6717 yeah - i replaced one of those a couple of days ago. Take is off and check the filter inside - they often get clogged up… Failing that - buy a replacement. They tend to be around £40.
