I love the fakeout they do in the third phase. They even do the classic "we're right outside, keeping reinforcements away," to handwave the fact they're not with you. Then you come out of the second statue smash, and _they are here, doing the third phase mechanics for you!_ If Bungie wanted to make us feel like a hero on par with Zavala, Ikora, Cayde, and Crow... I think they succeeded.

When the witness saw how we were no threat and they see us like nothing in the void…and now look making a offer to stop the final shape…the traveler make us his champion for one reason, because we are stronger then the darkness 😎

"Your search for purpose continues" *as Shez is raiding the cornfield* Also thank god they put that checkpoint right there if you mess up the last part with the shield, I could imagine how much salt that would do to someone if you had to start the whole fight over from that lmao. Also my feels when Crow pulled out the axe that Saladin gave him at the end of Season of the Risen, was so cool!

I can't emphasize enough how hard the last boss fight on this mission was on legendary, even with constant healing. Still worth completing on legend as it felt satisfying. Can't wait to see your reaction to excision.

In the end fight when the witness talked, i just kept saying. "Blah,blah, yeah what ever" and the raid. Oh boy that was confusing, it took me sometime to get what was supposed to be done 😸. Oh and Shez watching this has been fun and through you, i got to hear voice lines and see some environment that i basically ignored before..

I find it a little funny that the Witness tries to convince us to join its side by claiming the Traveler enslaved us, despite its own beef being the Traveler’s lack of explicit direction.

Good question! I was helping scout with a friend for WF teams so I wouldn't have my first intial reaction, but I might grab my friendos and see if we can have a fun night going through the raid!
