Neglected by an over-ambitious husband, Bhumi struggles to find some meaning in her dreary life burdened with the responsibilities of being a wife, daughter-in-law and mother in rural Rajasthan. A stranger arrives carrying a baggage of his own and changes her world forever.

मार्मिक कहानी, "कभी किसी को मुकम्मल जहाँ नहीं मिलता कभी ज़मी तो कभी आसमाँ नहीं मिलता।" फेरी वाला और इस वीडियो की नायिका के संदर्भ में ये पंक्तियाँ सटीक बैठती हैं। फेरी वाले का संवाद "फिर भी जीना तो पड़ता है"-हृदय को छू लेता है। सचमुच बहुत ही सुंदर लघु फ़िल्म।

अपना बोझ (जिम्मेदारी) तो हर किसी को उठाना पड़ता है कभी किसी ओर का थोड़ा सा भी बोझ (सहायता) तो उठाकर देखो, अच्छा लगेगा ओर ऐसा करने से खुद का बोझ उठाने का बल (होसला) मिलेगा।

The film also brings to light the plight of several of our citizens suffering endlessly, walking long distances just to get a few pots of water. Even after 71 years of independence, so many parts of our country lacks basic amenities. What a shame. Speaks volumes of the poor planning and governance.

the Indian society has 101 rules and rituals that only suppresses women. Just name any one rule or ritual that help women to be free. A very nice film that highlights the daily struggles of a woman.

Ending was superb.The toy clapping, was even more good. God taught him a good lesson. Women should take a stand for their own selves. Don't think urself as weak & desperate & bear all the torture of the foolish men. Best is for women, never to get married if they r born in such backward villages.
