You often refer to your "tiny craft space" and it always amazes me that you create such unique and amazing cards, working within a small space. Just goes to prove that you don't have to have a big, beautiful craft studio with every craft product on the market to be creative and enjoy the craft process. You and your creations are "one-of-a-kind" and that's why so many of us appreciate you Tash.
Love the colours on these cards and yes again another simple design. I really don't know where your creativity comes from! You just keep coming up with something all the time. Thankyou for sharing your talent with us all Natasha ❤️
You are amazing Natasha. You give clear simple instructions and get professional looking results every time. I love how you use you stash in different ways - you are the most creative card maker on RU-vid! Luv from Australia!😀
love that you brought back this old technique. We tend to forget them but it is fun to see it again. I will have to make a few of them again soon. Thank you Natasha for keeping us on our toes and get us out of our comfort zone. Old is new again!!
I'm always happy to hear your welcoming voice at the beginning of your videos. The bokeh is something I've never tried. You made it look easy and the results are beautiful on both cards. Thank you, Natasha for this and all your inspiring videos.
The purple one is my fave hands down!! I'd never seen this technique before and love the simplicity... I actually tried it today because of seeing this video a few days ago!! It was fun and easy... I used varying sized circle stamps I had! Worked well!! Thanks Natasha!
I must admit at first I was like why the circles, but it looks really nice once the cards are completed! Very unique! I hope you that cold goes away! Thank you! 💕💙
Love Bokeh and so simple, both cards are beautiful.Guessed you had a cold Tash, get well soon. Hope the wet weather eases soon and you are not in a flood area, we will be growing fins soon!!!!!
Finally got me some of that mythical unicorn white pigment ink. What a game-changer! It's actually opaque! Much easier to clean up than white acrylic paint :)
You are so very, very creative! I think you come up with the most useful and simple but gorgeous cards of anyone I watch! Thank you for all the inspiration you give us!
I love Natasha's videos. I've been watching Lavinia stamp videos too. Going back and forth shows how Natasha is in touch with the everyday person. I watch the Lavinia videos and I'm always thinking to myself, "That's not how Natasha does it." LOL. Different styles for everyone. I would love to see how Natasha interprets a Lavinia style!
@Natasha Foote • I never understood the attraction of Bokeh backgrounds until I saw yours. You also explain it clearly enough to make it simple. Feel better soon. 👍
Beauuuutiful cards as always. ! Love the little vellum flower. Sorry to hear you've not been well. I said to my husband, "Tash sounds like she's struggling a little." poor you feel better soon please. We've just broken up for summer and I can't remember the last time it rained... Approaching drought conditions here in the UK. Thank you for yet another inspiring video you lovely lovely lady. Xx
I remember doing Bokeh backgrounds a few years ago. I used cardstock for the “holes” template, which got soggy after awhile. Your idea of using acetate is brilliant. I may do the same thing to create a re-usable “cloud” border. Lovely cards as usual!
What a fantastic way to create a bokeh background! I will definitely try this. I love all the ideas and the colours you chose for the backgrounds are really pretty. Thankyou!!😁
Hi Natasha* I tend to fear getting the paints out but I LOVE this look. I will get cracking on this idea now. So appealing with vellum too. Keep your ideas & videos coming & thank you from Adelaide South Australia 🦘🦘🦘👍❤️
I like the Bokeh concept for these cards. Very nice backgrounds. Thanks for showing us about the washi tape and how to trim it quickly and accurately. Feel better soon. 😄
I love bokah. The cards you have produced are gorgeous. I'm not adding sentiments now. It makes the cards more versatile. Thankyou so much for sharing once again. Take care and stay safe.
Thanks fire this reminder. I love this technique and haven’t done it in ages. Your cards are lovely. And I’m enjoying laying in bed with the flu watching and watching some great tutorials from you. Feel better soon too.
Winter, sounds good right now, been very hot n humid where I am. Hope that cold goes away sometime soon. Love this technique, will give it a try. Tfs, feel better.
Hi. At first I thought the blue was my clear favourite but looking at them completed side by side I'm not so sure now......nope, I can't decide again! Thank you for sharing this fabulous video, I so look forward to seeing what you come up with next with your boundless imagination and talent that is so inspiring.......I wonder what that style background looks like after using an embossing folder on it....... sorry, you sent my mind off on a mission for a moment there, anyway thank you again.
Love this technique and I’m going to try it once I’ve finished my sewing projects and get my stamps and dies etc back out again 🤗 Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and I hope you feel much better soon xx 🤗🥰
WOW! I really like how you did the bokeh background, Natasha!! I'm going to try that. I hope you get over your cold soon! It's interesting that you're in the middle of winter while we in Calgary, Alberta, Canada are experiencing a heat wave. I'd like an in between, please 😀 Thanks, Natasha!
Oops lost my first comment?? Anyway I can’t believe how quick and easy you make it look to create your backgrounds you are amazing! Love your fussy cutting too again you make it look so easy and beautiful, not easy for me! Thanks once again for sharing some beautiful techniques 💕
Just gorgeous, Tash. I've wanted to give bokeh a try for ages but not seemed to get around to it. The way you've done it here looks easy and super-doable.
Great idea to use acetate to make your own stencils!! Great results from your technique. Sorry to hear that you are not feeling great-hope you feel better quick!
I used a laminating sheet that had gone through the laminator, die cuts perfectly too and I make a lot of my own stencils.I love the bokah technique, its just sooo pretty.I may even use the bokah and turn it into an eclipse too...great cards Natasha & hope your cold goes soon x
beautiful cards....i live in oregon and we have started our 3 weeks of 100 degrees...i always whine about this...i hate heat and can not do anything in my craft room i have so many ideas and this is at the top of the list take care of yourself and hope you feel better soon....thanks for sharing that ever creative brain of yours
I would have joined your $5 tier but it was all full up! I'm sorry, I've got cancer and can't afford anything more. I'll keep buying a coffee every now and then, tho'. Thanks, mate for all the great work
I really like these! They combine both my painting and the card making!! So great! I have a question for you: I have been asked to do a card making class for a group of women. I have done this before and I find that 1. They don’t listen well ( I may have a solution for that this time but can always use ideas) 2. They don’t have crafting skills so I end up practically making them ahead of time so they can just glue. More like you might do for children. This is just so much work for me. I may do your bokeh background just because it looks so fun and I could make those stencils for everyone, but do you have any other simple cards that might be appropriate that you have tutorials for and you might point me to them? Also any other hints would be so appreciated! I don’t have to do this for a few weeks (maybe 6weeks) so I have time to prepare but I was thinking that this would make a great tutorial for you to do because I am sure that this comes up all the time! Anyway I love your channel, I love your voice and love hearing about your family now and then! Thank you so much! Donna
Do exactly what Natasha did since she’s done all the work here. Give credit to her from New Zealand. Hopefully you can slow down the process so that everyone gets done around the same time. I would kindly suggest that you go back through Natasha’s body of work, her many, many past videos, and like each one, as you’re asking for ideas that are inspired by Natasha, and when you do find several videos that work in your scenario, please give credit for her original ideas. This is what RU-vid artists work extremely hard on and this content is free. Most if not all artists request politely that their original work is acknowledged. I hope I’ve helped just a little bit.
A great idea for Bokeh the easy way. I've never tried the technique but using your stencil idea will make it quick and easy. I also like the way you watercolor. I've tried to make pretty backgrounds and they just get all muddled. Obviously I tend to over-think things. lol
