Man JB I'm glad you enjoyed checking it out! I was pretty psyched when I saw a promo for it and was happy to get it in hand. Nice balance of clean design, good materials, solingen construction, and decent'ish price. It's definitely getting some pocket time! Also big thanks for the lefty perspectivizing! It added a bit of fun to the review And a final warning! Lefties beware: swapping the clip over was a little bit tricker than I thought it would be at first. The barrel the clip screws into isn't captive so I had to take both backspacer screws off one side to get the clip off and the other to get it on. Since those are the only screws holding the spring assembly on the knife be sure to fully reattach the first side before starting the second or you'll be sad when the whole knife is in pieces on your bench (not that I've ever done that or anything 😂)
Good looking piece but I do have one small nit pick; since it's obviously meant to be ambidextrous, there should be a long pull slot on both sides of the blade. Not only would that make it more user friendly, it would enhance the aesthetics as well.
Your video motivated me to put the replacement clip on mine, which sadly broke off. Thanks for that! It's a good slipjoint, especially in Germany, where this one is fully legal to carry. Good to see a MagnaCut blade on such a knife 🤩

Nice, simple design. I'm guessing its market would be best served by not having a lot of splash but rather just a simple cutting tool. And having it in Magnacut is fantastic.
I like this one a lot. I turned to the traditional knives since I won the Lake Champlain from you. This will be the next purchase I do but only if the videos from Blade Show do not show something better.

Displaying the knives clipside up like you did seems better because I can imagine what the show side looks like from the clipside, but I cannot imagine what a clip looks like from the show side. Medicine denotes the left side as sinister… coincidence that they don’t get much love? I think not. 😂 Thanks for the review, I think it’s pretty good looking knife.
I was having 2nd thoughts at the start but , it's a top of the pocket carry, (always in easy reach) and ive gotten to the point if it not a back flipper, I have to use both hands , so this actually is a nice looking, workable knife, enough said 😂😂😂😂
The price kinda surprised me, considering the materials and it being a Solingen made Boker. Alot of those get pretty pricey with just 440, D2 etc. Thanks JB!
I bought mine on sale, though the pre-sale price is low for Magnacut. Though the blade is single side long pull, I have to use a finger nail to open it. Still, it is one of my favorite non-locking knifes.
interesting....that micarta looks quite nice and goes really well with the satin spring and blade...the overall profile is really nice, that plunge grind is pretty poopoo though...
Hopefully the heat treat good. Everyone using and so excited about magnacut but runs it too soft. Won’t get any benefits out of it if not at least 63-64 hrc. U can take it to 67 even comfortably. The average most companies do is still 58-60. Might as well use S30V and drop costs 30% respectfully 🤷🏾
