It's hard to watch the new Ridge. It's nothing against TK, he's just not the Ridge Forrester we're all accustomed to. They needed someone who is at least as masculine like RM who can actually hold chemistry with the women on screen.

It’s been like that from jump. 😅 I don’t watch new eps, but I get the impression things are pretty tame/lame now. Back in the 80s it was the triangle with Caroline Sr, who Ridge married; and in the 90s through ‘02 it was with Taylor. He was married to Taylor ‘92-‘94, and ‘98-‘02. He was only married to Brooke after Taylor’s first “death”, when he also thought he was Bridget’s dad. When T came back, the Bridge marriage was declared invalid, and he divorced T to stay with what he believed was his family... but before he and Brooke (re)married, Bridget’s true paternity was revealed (Sheila had switched the tests in ‘92). After a lot of very soapy drama, Ridge and Taylor finally remarried and had the three Tridge kids. They stayed married until her second “death”. But the show had tilted very much toward Brooke & the Logans by the time she returned in ‘05. Tridge and Taylor were completely different after...which is why you hear people talking about OG Tridge/Taylor, pre-rewrites. I actually stopped watching around this period because I hated the direction the show was going in, especially re Taylor. I watch old eps, but not new ones.

Is that too much to ask after Ricky-boy told Ridge to his face that he was only marrying Steffy to get Ridge back? Except for the derogatory things he said about Ridge's daughter. I couldn't look that bastard in the face either.

From watching old episodes from this era, I got to see that Steffy finally woke up when Bill took over FC. The era when the Logan women were CEO, President, Vice president, oh and models. Katie is the only one being logical here. Oh and Hope was handed that line of hers 🙄 she was finally done with this lot

So disappointed that the story is bringing back the same old same old with Brooke and Ridge getting back together. Brooke is a complete smug bitch and always gets her way. Ridge is weak to go back to her........Hope it doesn’t last.

In fact, unlike Brooke, Taylor was never with married men. Technically, Ridge wasn't married here, that's the only reason she got involved. She made this clear when Stephanie told her the marriage was not legal.

Taylor is making her move on ridge. Ridge is hurting and Taylor is being supportive. Some part of Taylor is liking this. She has always been waiting for Brooke to mess up. Ridge is vulnerable. Brooke you didn't support your husband enough.
