Bc Ridge needed to stay with Taylor for his ADULT CHILDREN'S sake as opposed to when Taylor came back and RJ was literally a baby and Stephanie faked a heart attack so Taylor and Ridge would remarry. Well he has said the same about Taylor even said Caroline and Taylor are his soulmate not saying he don't love Brooke as well. His love for Taylor is true he is the one that pursued her then the rewrites came in and stomped all over Taylor and Ridge's love story. To be honest they both deserve better then that pig Ridge.
Steffy hasn't grown up then or now. She's not a child who lives with her parents. Even if her parents aren't married, doesn't mean they aren't a family. Families exist in all sorts of ways.

Brooke thought she did something wrong and did not deserve Ridge and the love they have for each other she thought Taylor was the woman for him but it was all wrong they were manipulated Brooke asked Ridge to move on with Taylor but that was not what she wanted at all and neither did Ridge and Brooke found their way back to each other where they both belong

She herself should know how unhealthy it is to keep going back to a man who could not fully commit. ..If it was a patient, she’d be trying to help them rebuild their self esteem and tell them they deserve better. And to break the pattern since the man sure didn’t ( in her case , Ridge never breaks the habit of going back and forth so it’s up to Taylor to , and keep some dignity. ). A man who went between 2 women and played with their heads/hearts, is just not a man who she should look for in a husband. The biggest mistake n tragedy is that Ridge should not had made a family with Taylor. He must have known from the beginning that he belonged with Brooke and not with Taylor. And it's weird to me that Steffy can not get over her parents divorce and act like she is 7 years old. She do not give a dam about RJ! Steffy is a selfish brat.

After 27 separations, no one believes in love between the two anymore. And yes, Steffy and Thomas should have stayed out of it more. But they always wanted the best for their mother, who in my opinion was actually a better partner for Ridge in the early years. She made the best of him, while Brooke often took advantage of him, manipulated him for her own purposes and lied to him. Nevertheless, both women deserve a man who doesn't constantly commute back and forth and who no one can take seriously.
Yes Steffy he loves Taylor but he’s in love with Brooke and there’s a big difference. Although that doesn’t change the fact that his ignorant actions to leave one women and go running back to the next because he thought he had to caused a lot of pain. Ridge should’ve at least stayed single until he knew the right thing.
Brooke had raised those kids for 8 years and then Taylor returned from the dead. When Taylor died Thomas was 9 years old drinking and when she returned he was 17 years old and Bridge was dealing with the dilemma of Amber dating Thomas.
