Though a good cliff hanger-revelation at the time, I never liked the transgender SL as it seemed very contrived, politically motivated and done for ratings. It was more or less thrown in there as an afterthought, messy and at odds with Maya's past, especially the little girl she lost.
The writers sabotaged Maya for social acceptance of LGBT. That was one of the worse acts of character sabotage ever. This story should never have been made with Maya.
Jealous, and envious people, always bringing up others past, is an evil way to be. Some people change for the better, others change in a bad way, and do the worst horrible things, everyone deserves a chance, people make mistakes, forgiveness is something, we all need, and to give. Judging people over rumors, that could be all lies, is a ticket to hell.
