Brooke is being supportive , because she actually loves Ridge . As hard as it is for her , she sees how disappointed the man she loves is , and that makes her feel for him . If you've ever genuinely loved someone , you know how deeply you wanna see them happy . Even if it's not with you . So Brooke isn't being fake , she's being supportive .
That's how I see it too....even if she thought it was a bad idea, she knew it was something HE wanted and now cant have. Also she had BEEN encouraging Ridge to be upfront with Caroline regarding the Vasectomy but Ridge just kept acting like things were going to work out just because he wanted to and was making promises before even speaking to a doctor
And oh ! Brooke you are so happy about that. Ridge not being able to father a child. You are so transparent, so jealous of Ridge and Caroline. You cannot stand that Ridge loves Caroline and NOT you.
Brooke "tell your wife the truth!" Ridge: thinks Brooke cares Brooke: Hopes once Caroline learns the truth, she'll leave Ridge and Ridge will run back to Brooke. With Brooke, there's always an agenda.
