Well for one reason being Ridge name is FORRESTER and not Marone. Hope's last name is Hoegan instead of Sharp. So you see HOpe's not legally, biologically nor TECHNICALLY a Forrester yet she is afforded the privilege because like her Mother she is allowed by Ridge. @sandra l You are a little vague on the details. 1ST Steffy didn't leave Marcus...Ric sent him to Paris so he could manipulate and get into Steffy's heart and head which was all apart of his plan to seduce all the women in Ridge's life and hurt him for the stuff Brooke had done to his family. 2nd of all Steffy loved Brooke at first but it all flipped when she came back from Paris and saw how things had changed within the family company. And then Ridge and Taylor were supposed to get back together but Brooke kept interfering so it made her look at Brooke very differently. It made all that Stephanie told her to be true about Brooke. And finally I do know that Hope is Deacon's daughter and never was a FORRESTER but Ridge took on the title and she was put front in center first by Katie then by her father. What is a misconception is that Steffy is somehow jealous of Hope when in fact she has always tried to help and be a sisterly person to her. But Brooke and Katie hindered that relationship from jump. Hope was afforded things she never worked for and that is one of the reasons why she has the entitlement and no accountability attitude; just like all the Hoegan do.

@@UrGworlCanCan Thank you sis. You got down the root of the problem here. I agree with everything you said. Not only that but Steffy has problem with the way Brooke is constantly forcing her illegitimate daughter down the throats of everyone at Forrester. Steffy has often voiced that the reason she is so against Hope being at Forrester is because she sees her as replacing Phoebe. Phoebe is dead. Ridge's other daughter is dead and a void is missing in his life and Brooke wants her child to fill that void. She wants Hope to replace Phoebe as Ridge's daughter hence the reason why she always refers to Hope as Ridge's daughter when she's speaking to him. Steffy also has a problem with Hope because she is seeing Hope getting everything that Phoebe was supposed to get. Everyone knows that Phoebe was supposed to be the face of the company. In the years leading up to her death, it was clear that Eric and Ridge were molding Phoebe to take over for Brooke. She was modeling more often. She was doing more campaigns and fittings. She was very active at Forrester Creations. Phoebe was supposed to be spokesmodel but when she died all of that changed. Steffy sees Hope as she's trying to erase Phoebe's memory. Brooke is trying to erase Phoebe as Ridge's daughter and replace it with her own. Of course Steffy will feel some type of way. Ridge needs to understand that Hope is NOT his daughter. Your daughter is Steffy. Your ONLY daughter. Your other daughter is dead. Also Hope calling Ridge her father would make her Steffy's sister and in Steffy's eyes, Hope is not her sister and she's right. Hope is not her sister. Steffy's sister is Phoebe Forrester and you are not her so stop referring to yourself as Steffy's sister. Hope's sister is Bridget. You want sisterly love go and find Bridget cause you ain't gonna get it from Steffy.

@@UrGworlCanCan Actually Hope is a Forrester. Ridge married Brooke at the time Hope's still a Minor. Hope goes by Logan as a Business name much like Brooke does. Legally, she's still a Forrester.

Because Eric is married to her grandmother Stephanie. Eric is also on Ridge's birth certificate. Eric raised Ridge as his son and still to this day calls him his son.

No because Eric is on Ridge's birth certificate. Ridge is not on Hope's. Eric raised Ridge as his own and thought he was his father. Ridge always knew Hope was Deacon's love child with Brooke !

@@kimberlygould8293 well he only did that because he was lied to. Eric is only still around because he is forgiving like any father figure should be lol. So ridge is a father figure to hope since she was born just like Eric and no lies to get him to be there for her. He chooses to be there in her life.
