Macy and Thorne could’ve avoided all of this if they just communicated. Instead of jumping to conclusions and/or not communicating, they could’ve easily fixed the bump in their relationship by talking. This so tedious to watch

I can believe that. Some people need years to figure out their own sexuality. I just think it would have been a better story for Karen to figure that out on screen - than that mess with living together with Thorne and the wife who still wanted him back.

I have the same question even if I agree with Mara4450 that some people need years to figure out their sexuality. But in a way, the fact that Karen hasn't been intimate with a man yet and doesn't seem overly excited over it, even if she makes the effort, kind of fits on her coming out as a lesbian later. Or she may be bi, and leaned more to women thus she went in a long term relationship with one.

I’m wondering if because JJ is a lesbian in real life that she asked to be written that way. That her absence from the show, and then her return later on, made her realize that there was no need to be written as something she’s not in real life & it could add to diversity in the show. Who knows? I’m probably wrong. But I wouldn’t be surprised if her real life had a little bit to play in Karen being written as a lesbian later on.

Seems Taylor is back to her - "I am going to treat Brooke as a patient or frenemy" - approach. Taylor is so busy with her husband and her career and she knows that both women do not have any desire to become friends, but Taylor offers to make up time time for Brooke from time to time. Despite their hostility, Taylor invites Brooke to a dinner date at Taylor's home. If Brooke had taken that invitation and they had kept talking that "candidly" during that dinner, Ridge at least would gave gotten an interesting show.

I too have wondered about the schedule they now have. It had been 3 episodes of season 6 (1992) and one episode of season 10 (1996) and then also an episode of 2011/2012 (Cabo scenes). But yesterday and today they had two episodes from 2012? And today just 2 episodes from 1992?

She will soon befriend Karen I believe, and she is an on/pff friend with Sheila. Connected a little with Lauren but she is in another city and so are her sisters who she is close with too. Taylor is not a 100% honest that she wants Brooke's friendship. She showed some effort but with several innuendos like "you are 8 months pregnant, that's why you haven't come onto Ridge"

I don’t think Taylor actually wants to be friends with Brooke. What’s that saying? Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer?? I think that’s exactly what she was doing. That whole conversation helped Taylor realize things about Brooke that she may not have picked up before or validate the things Taylor had been saying to Ridge about Brooke still wanting Ridge but playing aloof.

@@marn25 Brooke and Sheila! What a great team they make! Both so very much alike! Though Sheila is a little more evil! Anyway, Brooke always sees competition in every woman! Especially when they are involved with Ridge. My point was, that Taylor made an effort and invited her for dinner. Of course that was a smart move, something selfish Brooke would never do! It's my personal opinion and I don't want to justify it. There's Brooke fans on here who always find excuses for her! Both women have their faults in my opinion!

That conversation goes in circles and has these two just bickering: Taylor kinda thanks Brooke that she didn't try to seduce Ridge in Paris, but then brings up Brooke's advanced pregnancy (Taylor: Of course you being 8 months pregnant might have helped). Brooke rejects that nice offering to get together from time to time, even when according to Taylor they both have no real desire to become friends, and brings up that she doesn't have time for such friendship since she is going to have a baby soon, and Taylor replies that Brooke loves mentioning that baby and her pregnancy (yes - that "8 months pregnancy) - while Brooke points out that she can't hide that advanced pregnancy - that might have factored into Brooke being unable to seduce Ridge, as Taylor already had pointed out.

When Macy started about Thorne being tender in bed, you could have just cut that conversation short and tell Macy that you don't have to go into that with Thorne's legal wife. You took too long to bring up how it is inappropriate to discuss these matters with Macy. Don't you have your mother's phone number, if you want to discuss such matters?
