It doesn’t last much longer. Susan and Kelly have great chemistry though. It’s unrealistic but it’s kind of nice when you forget how much they hated each other
So not only has Steph decided to forgive Brooke out the blue but now ridge, who not that long ago despised Brooke for stealing his family business and promised to “wage war on the woman” for pushing out the company, is now back to being friendly like the whole thing never happened. How convenient for Brooke that she’s back to having everyone like her again. So ridge not mad anymore about being booted from Forrester? He seemed to transfer all his anger on Amber when BROOKE was the reason behind everything.
Well I would love to know why Ridge is blaming Amber for everything at Forrester, when it started with the "trashy" (Ridge's fave word) Brooke's Bedroom. He's mad at Amber, but Brooke's the one who demoted him and sanctioned all of this New Face craziness. Now he's all chummy with Brooke again..and Brooke looks like she's one lingerie strap away from her old self, still facing no consequences for her actions... 😐 And here we go again...🙄🥱 Didn't take the writers too long.
I really feel for Erica/Mary. Her character becomes so much more interesting and tragic now that she is finding out about who she really is, who her father is, and what kind of life she could have had id Sheila hadn't left LA with her. Seeing her reaction as Rick talks about how Mary is probably a lost cause by now and as bad as her mother, while Erica is hoping he will have sympathy for Mary, is just heartbreaking.
@annieo6527 Yeah Rick almost found the truth from Mary/Erica confessing about Sheila and her own identity. If he wasn't so judgmental she was about to confess.
These Stephanie/Brooke scenes is when the writing for the show fell off a cliff. I remember back then this is when the rumors about KKL and Brad became rampant online and there were even leaks from people working on set talking about it on message boards.
Rick talking about how messed up Sheila's daughter must be while his own mother's running around marrying his brothers and toting her son-in-law's baby. 🥴
Exactly. As was discussed too a few episodes ago, there are certain lines even Sheila wouldn't cross when it comes to her kids. As evil as she is, she was always a better mother than Brooke.
At this point Brooke should just have an affair with Rick and have his baby too. Why not push the envelope? Brad will just make all the other characters forgive her anyway and her Stans will defend any horrible thing she does so what does it matter? She should have a boy with Rick so they can SORAS _that_ kid and let her have an affair with _him_ too.
Most stans would definitely find a way to excuse Brooke having Rick's baby. Brad would minimize the backlash to make her come out looking innocent. You'd think Bell would copy G.O.T
They would absolutely defend her for having a son who's also her grandson. They'll say it's just proof that no man can resist Brooke, not even her own son! 🤢
Brad should just have Brooke going through her sons and grandsons like that limbless woman under the bed in the "Home" episode of The X Files. (Brooke resembles her too)
Recently Stephanie said to Brooke "if you weren't pregnant I would kill you" and now the two are having "a nice time" like good friends and Stephanie has nothing else to do all day. What is this nonsense? Stephanie knows that Brooke will never be a better person and this baby won't change that. This woman is far too clever for such hypocrisy. What does Bell actually dream about at night?
@ahy4234 Stephanie has always closet-ly admired Brooke. The person who was able to have such a deep connection with Ridge and who Ridge was always drawn to despite the circumstances. Stephanie was always fierce but tried to remain rational. Staying in a state of hate constantly was never Stephanie's thing, alot of the posters on these YT comments tend to forget all that and only liked seeing Stephanie in the anti-Brooke perspective.
@@686JM But Stephanie was always a person with very strong principles and everything Brooke did was against these principles. Stephanie loved her grandchildren and she would never have put aside what Brooke did to Bridget in a very short time to help a person who hadn't changed at all and thus trampled on Bridget as a victim. This was a typical Bell's dream story for his Brooke
@@TriniT21 You know how they always had that one actress prancing around in something skimpy and doing voice over as the framing device but she wasn't actually in the s e x scenes? 😂
Not Brooke trying to give Stephanie advice on how to be attractive and get Eric's attention. That is wrong on so so many leveIs. It really turns their entire character history and confIict into a joke, as well as Brooke's so-called redemption (which goes out the window the minute Ridge walks through the door, and Taylor isn't even dead yet).
I can't understand the need in the plot to have Ridge stopping by the guest house searching for his father. He could just enter waiting for him. This one is so forced.
@@NewYorkNick0607I just wrote the same thing. It's like they are trying to do an Odd Couple scene, but failing spectacularly. I am literally cringing watching Steph.. And that's alot coming from her no 1 fan. I went back to watch Steph almost break down Brooke's door in the valley when she went to confront her about being pregnant for Eric. It brought me back to place of peace and sanity lol.
I'm honestly *cringing* watching the scenes with Steph befriending Brooke. Are they trying an *Odd Couple* scenario? Bc it isn't anywhere remotely working. It's the first time I don't really watch Steph scenes bc I really cannot stand the ridiculousness of this. Meanwhile, Brooke seems like she's pretty much over this tea-time with Steph routine herself and is back to her old self (bc, who answers a door in lingerie anyway?? Oh, Brooke does when she hears Ridge's voice on the other side of the door🙄). Brooke's been celibate for 5 minutes and she can't take it anymore
Yes, it's painfuI to watch what has become of Stephanie. All of this just makes light of the _very real damage_ that Brooke has done, and quite recently too.
@@annieo6527 this whole thing is such a let down and a clear indication if the show on its way downhill. Why bother to have Steph imagining st rangling Brooke? They shouldn't have bothered with all the drama and subterfuge of Deacon and Brooke and really no need to introduce Whip. And I really didn't need to see endless footage of Brooke crying in self pity on my screen. Seems Deacon was right.. Should have just told bridgit from the start.. Seems she'd have just gotten over it 🙄
Yes Sheila was very helpful when Eric hired her (5:51) She eve volunteered to look after -Eric Junior- Rick. She'd often fill in when Judy was absent. At times Sheila would go to great lengths to keep Judy at bay, so she could get closer to Eric. Little did she her future stepson is her potential future SIL. In episode 1297around the 2: 41 minute mark we saw Sheila browse through the family photo album with Eric Junior. The same way Erica recently looked through the family album with Eric Forrester the Third (see episode 3879 from the 18: 36 minute mark) only to discover Sheila actually knows the Forresters. Little 16:50 Rick your trashy parents aren't criminals like Sheila, but they not good parents at all. Eric and Brooke have never been good role models either.
Rick, who was a toddler at the time of Sheila marrying his dad, clearly is getting his story from Eric.. I don't mind him mentioning how crazy Sheila was, but she def wasn't a bad wife to his father. His father was a p I ss poor husband to her. And BTW.. Does Erica/Mary ever find out that her mother had her father locked up in a dungeon at one time?
@@TriniT21 yes this all went down before Eric Junior was SORASed. No, Eric will never know that her mother kidnapped her dad and kept him in Houdini's dungeon.
@@TriniT21 true. Sheila was a good wife to Eric. The thing that she did that got him to distance himself from her was that she (checks notes) accepted a job offer as Brooke's assistant.
So, selfish and manipulative Brooke is back to her old tricks, concerning “Widge”….that sums up their shallow and boring relationship! Her standing there in the new bedroom collection. It doesn’t get cheaper than the village bike!🤦♀️🤣
That was and always is Brooke's problem: she has only reduced herself to appearing and being cheap. As a result, she had absolutely nothing else to offer.
@@jemekiahall5848I mean.. Who answers their front door in lingerie? 🙄 Brooke's already retired from trying to be mother of the year, bc she doesn't have to be. She knows it's just a matter of time b4 bridgit is back in her web without her having to make much effort, and she can go on living like normal.
I agree with Ridge. Taylor shouldn't have brought the trash in knowing how he feels. It's like he said if he brought in Brooke to live with them knowing how Taylor feels about her.
It’s completely different. Brooke is his ex who was obsessed with breaking up their marriage. Amber may have issues with ridge but he never tried to ruin their lives.
If we go back to the beginning, Ridge should not have brought the OG trash, Brooke, in his mother's house, knowing exactly how she felt. I say, he should s uck it up now the way Steph had to back then.
Not Brooke condescendingly trying to tell Stephanie about what turns Eric on when Eric knocked up Stephanie 5 times before Brooke ho-ed on to the Forrester scene. A man who cheats may still be getting plenty at home!
Right. Where did Brooke think the 2 Forrester brothers she slept with came from? This reminds me of when Brooke was trying to teach Steph about sekshuality at big bear, which was another time that the writers fell off the wagon with Brooke and Steph.
In s2, there is scene where Stephanie talks to Caroline about how a s e x u a l connection (referring to her and Eric) can keep a marriage together. Brooke is always talking about her s e x u a l prowess as if she is the only woman in LA who knows "how" 🙄
Ridge is awful. Whenever he's upset with Taylor, he runs to Brooke and vice versa. He doesn't understand what commitment is. Brooke and Taylor both look gorgeous in this episode.
I’d say let him leave then I get you don’t like the situation but going off on Taylor like that then flirt with brooke at the end also if you want to blame amber for the fashion line remember your precious Logan was the one who helped her line happen and push you out of control of fc for herself Rick amber and gave deacon of all people a spot cause he was her lover
It's funny that Rick doesn't find it odd that Erica is asking questions about Sheila and Mary, if he only knew that he is looking and talking to Mary Warwick herself
I feel the utmost sympathy for Erica/Mary on two occations: A - You know what the old biblical say of punishment for being raised by Sheila Carter, "The sins of the mother visited upon the daughter". B - Rick has no say in the matter to prejudice whether or not Sheila's dark influence on Erica will make her no different from the person she is on the inside. Because you can never know when a child is better off learning from their parents' mistakes and want to change for a new generation of themselves.
What’s crazy about Erica/Mary’s backstory is that when she was a baby, Amber and Rick were practically adults and Amber fought her mother that night lol. 😂
This 2002 storyline is when SORASing on this show jumps the shark. Bell should have waited a few more years to bring back Sheila & Mary, and paired the latter with SORASed Thomas, who would be more her age contemporary.
Finally, something to watch… Brooke and Ridge interacting…. Doing their little dance. 🤗💕😍 Agree with you….on the chemistry. 😊❤️

Brooke has a great figure for an older woman (I have to keep reminding myself she's not actually in her mid 50's!) but she's not p r e t t y. Most times she looks plain but if you pause it at any point today she has scary clown f a c e.
