Different writers. One of the Bell brothers wanted Ridge and Taylor together. Other bell brother destroyed Taylor character. Don’t watch it anymore. Show is more about the Logans
Exactly! Everyone said BROOKE was the love of his life- but you can't WATCH this and tell me that's TRUE! It's TAYLOR who was the love of Ridge's life!!
this was the end of the bold and the beautiful as we know it after that it was ridiculous the Brooke era was just masquerade and a decline in the level of the show a destruction for all the charecters
That's exactly what happened, it turned into "The Brooke Logan Show" (even when they brought Taylor back, it was still all about Brooke). And it's gotten WAY WORSER in recent years since practically the ENTIRE Logan clanq is front and center almost every week, it's now "Keeping Up With the Logan's" starring Brooke Logan & co-starring Hope Logan (and Donna & Katie as the supportive cast)
It certainly was not. 2005 2006 through to 2013 were great. Lots of awesome characters and story lines. Once dreadful Steffy started being on I stopped watching Brooke is the bold and the beautiful. 36 years ! ❤️
I think in the long term it was a mistake to kill Taylor off (again). Macy was killed off in 2000 so you had no female characters of Brooke’s age with Taylor gone. Tricia Quick was brought in briefly but was gone in early 2003. They brought Macy back but that didn’t last either. 2002 was great but saw a massive exodus of characters: Taylor, Sheila, Erica, Tony, Kristen, Zende, Sofia, Whip, and Ziggy. The show was OK in 2003 until the fall when they killed Macy off again. From that point through at least the spring of 2004 it was rough. Jennifer Finnigan had left and they recast Bridget. Tough times. Improved during the later months of 2004 and into 2005 with Taylor’s return.
B&B was still good from like 2003 to somewhere in the early 2010s. From what I get from clips, it doesn’t look like it was ever quite as good as it was in 2002 though.

Taylor and Brooke were both shot by Sheila. When Shelia is in her crazy state of mind there’s no stopping her until she is knocked out. I hope Shelia was caught and is in jail.
They should have left her dead. They ruined her character! Another woman should have been brought in if they were so fixed about doing another love triangle.

This is 2002. And that is Taylor, not a doll. Prince Omar had arrived in LA when he heard that Taylor was shot. And after she "died" and she was taken away, Prince Omar took her and replaced her with a doll. So at the funeral when there was an open cascet, that was a doll. But this is the real Taylor at the hospital bed.
