The explanation of how Macy survived is right up there with alien abduction in terms of plausibility, but I bought it anyway because I was so glad to see her back.
its too bad they destroyed Thorn and Macy they should have made a family like Ridge and Taylor with children and stability instead they destroyed their love story and for what
It seriously made NO SENSE for them to bring Macy back only to destroy this relationship yet again and have Thorne cheat so quickly with Darla and have Macy marry Deacon. Like who the hell came up with that idea??!!! The fans wanted Thorne and Macy, it was ALWAYS Thorne and Macy!
@@soapsfanatic Thorne and Darla grew on me over the years, but I too remain baffled by that. Not on Thorne's part because Forrester men are always skags but because Darla was so loyal to the Spectra family and it made no sense for her to bone him. But mostly, I'm baffled that they killed Macy off less than a year after she returned. The show would later recast it's most famous leading man and now the leading lady with a....vocally supportive fanbase (to be generous), so why couldn't they have let her leave town again in peace until a recast was found? She could've mixed it up with Nick, who was introduced a few months after this aired and revived the rivalry w her and Felicia again. So many dumb decisions, man.
@@KariIzumi1, well actually Darla asked Macy if she could ask Thorne out when Macy was married to Grant, and Macy was okay with it. So Darla had been checking Thorne out for awhile. Sally and Darla considered each other as mother and daughter. When Sally fired Darla, after she slept, with Thorne, Darla was so sad saying that she wanted her best friend and mother back. One thing that I didn't like about Darla is that she always threw it in Ridge and Brooke's faces that Ridge wasn't a true Forrester, but she considered Sally her mother and a Spectra. Other than that I liked Darla. As much as I liked Macy, they shouldn't have brought her back. They ruined her character(just like they did with Taylor)and relationships with Thorne and Darla. I would have liked to have seen Claudia come back and put her in a love triangle with Thorne and Darla.
Exactly How did her dad hear about the accident? She was thrown down an embankment after an explosion How long was she laying there till her dad just happened to find her. And why would he sneak her away
@@songriver1232 If I remember correctly, he was on the run for some reason, so didn't want his own whereabouts to become known. And maybe something in there about wanting to keep her away from Thorne. But regardless of all that it does seem unnecessarily cruel to let Sally believe her daughter was dead all that time.
Thiz scene reminds me of the classic movie The Promise. .with Kathleen Quinlan and Steven Collins... It's a shame that they destroyed such a great couple first with Thorne cheating on an alcoholic Macy and then with Macy's best friend Darla knocking her up when Macy should have had his child. It was to much for Macy so she got involved with Deacon Sharp marrying him... shortly before the wedding Thorne arranged a surprise dinner with all the works with their history layed out with a song that they song together as a duo back in the early nineties....The new Throne came on the scene in 1997 i believe and they had the best chemistry....Macy met her demise singing at Deacon's club when a chandelier fell on her killing her instantly...
@@ankina86 yep! Which actually happened, to Macy, twice. After Thorne couldn't make things happen, with Taylor, he wanted Macy back, but she had moved on with Grant. Then after he overheard Brooke saying that Ridge was the love, of her life, he divorced her and went to Macy's grave saying what a mistake he made and told her, in the scene, after this one.
@MarleHunter85 Apparently there had been a woman who had come to help her, if I remember correctly. And then she died.... or they just changed the story 😅
Yeah she was blown from the car and her father just happened to show up and save her only he was being chased by the mob so they had to leave town lol......
Yeah, that’s too bad that they didn’t get thorn and Macy together and have children like ridge and Brooke and all them and Taylor oh my God they just destroyed their scene. I thought they were great together. Well actually the real thorn not this fake one here.
