This lift, along with the Kone MonoSpace lifts and the other Schindler 5500 lift were installed to replace the 1963 Johns & Waygood lifts that were first replaced by EPL Kone in the 1980s. With this installation, all instances of EPL Kone in the centre are now gone (especially the Schindler ECD mod in David Jones (which uses Comic Sans as the floor indicator's font)).
