Cap. Al ain’t been “legend status” for 4 decades Lmaoo. He only been active for 3, started in 91. First beat wasn’t until 96. Legend status for the last 15 years, yeah. But to say 4 decades straight is pure cap and he’s my #1 producer
@@biglex42 Fair enough on your opinion, I might have been hyperbolic. I took 4 decades from the fact that he's been active in the '90s, '00s, '10s and of course this decade. Fact is Al has been remarkably consistent well over 30 years into his involvement in rapping/producing and earned his legend status a while ago imo
@Vincent H. I’m from queens, so it started with his work with mobb deep for me. Then I realized over time a lot of my favorite songs by different rappers from the 2000’s were randomly produced by alchemist. Then covert coup and no idols with curren$y and domo genesis. And ever since then I’ve been hooked. His sound is just so unique, it’s like it’s own genre lowkey
He doesn't sleep or have many friends actually. At least he doesn't socialize outside his studio that much from what I've seen. He just puts in the work. Oh also he listens to everything instead of crate digging for the same dusty soul samples to chop like a lot of lazy ass producers.
No one Touching P, he was above all this thug shit in the last few years of his death, I'm an old cat & I'm over this G shit...but still love ALC's signature sound.
Reaaly cant wait for this and Westside's double album, and Conway's....griselda flooding us as always passsing their own limits and boundaries. Mad stoked
That funny because I remember the first time I played this album, 20 minutes went by before I realized how times I replayed this song, I could not get past the first track
Boldy is that dude!!!! And Alchemist my GOD!!! This man really has something to prove, the most consistent producer of the last decade easy, Al and Muggs both!! But Al really been in his bag!!! He keeps reinventing himself!!! Griselda has the game in their palms right now!!!! Hip Hop lives buried deep in the Underground!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@cankadakaloglu4172 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aYHk2RBEhIs.html thats your beat. Sounds like a broken lawn mower mixed with a jet engine.
First off, Boldy slid on that beat switch. Secondly, I'm glad my dude startin to get some recognition. Been a fan since the cool kids put him on they mixtape in 09.
Trust me you’d rather it stays where it’s at, thats what gives it power. The joy of discovering music like this on a whim and sharing it with likeminded people, it’s unparalleled. Alc and Boldy aren’t tied down by label execs demanding radio play for the watered down masses, which is why they have the freedom to be as creative and engaging as they want to be.
@@Mpc333k I just wish the dynamics was different, ya know ? Like it should be a balance of this and trap music on the radio . Like let’s even the playing field
