@Lydia antisemtism? jesus christ, please be realistic...it´s a stereotype at worst! and it´s not even a "bad" one...it´s one that essentially says "jews make good and successful lawyers!"...where´s the problem? i´m a jew and i felt zero point zero percent offended by this line...how jewish are you? lemme, guess, you aren´t? just another woke person on the internet dictating to everybody what they should and shouldn´t feel offended by? worry about real problems, plz
He said "dog house, crack house, Molly and x house. Michael Jackson ain't dead he live in my guest house". This Freddie and currency tip the alchemist is on is crazy. Once again bringing 2 different worlds together in hip hop. I can't get enough.
Alc beats always make me feel like I’m in a old mobster movie getting ready to get in the car and let the Tommy gun off. But then go have wine and pasta after and discuss the hit
@@confettisprinkles622 Bandana and Alfredo >>>>>>> anything Roc Marci or Mach Hommy have ever dropped. With that said tho Black Thought is technically the best rapper on the planet and has been for a while. Even Gibbs gon admit that
@@Mpc333k Mach Hommy is overrated af so there’s not really an argument there. Bandana isn’t even that good, you should’ve said Piñata, and Alfredo is amazing because of Alchemist firstly and Freddie secondly. Freddie has stronger energy and a more varied cadence but there’s no way in hell he can outwrite Roc Marci. I’m a huge Freddie fan so in no way am I saying he’s trash, but his projects shine the way they do because he works with the two literal greatest producers alive, any other producer and y’all wouldn’t be praising everything he drops. Fetti and Alfredo wouldn’t be the same without Alchemist production, Piñata and Bandana wouldn’t be praised without Madlib. You could argue that Roc’s beat selection outshines his rapping but even then, at least he does like 90% of his production with his own two hands. Freddie isn’t nearly as versatile as Roc, he’s definitely not a better writer, and without Madlib and Alchemist he’d just be another average underground street rapper
@@confettisprinkles622 This is such a shallow take. You pseudo intellectual fanboys love bringing up the same tired flawed argument to discredit Gibbs when he has one of the strongest pens in the game. If you get a cosign from Black Thought not once but twice I’m inclined to believe him over some random youtuber. Lyricism doesn’t always have to showcase some deep intellectual worldview; just because Gibbs raps about the street life doesn’t make him any less of a lyricist than Roc. He’s candid about his experiences and he illustrates it authentically and with a great deal of creativity; how is that a negative? Not to mention Roc got completely washed by Gibbs on $500 ounces. Writing is also relative to cadence, flow, rhyme-schemes, introspection, imagery, thematic consistency, swagger, wittiness, etc. and in all these factors and more, Gibbs is top tier. To call him an “average” underground rapper tells me you have no critical thinking skills and it’s pointless to argue with you further. Notice how I’m not calling Roc “average” just to be argumentative. Here are the facts whether you want to deflect by only praising the producers or not: Pinata, Bandana, and Alfredo are all more critically acclaimed than any Roc Marci project. The reason why producers like Madlib and Alchemist love working with him is BECAUSE his pen game is A1. Alexys wasn’t produced by either of em and yet it’s one of Gibbs strongest performances. And what does beat-making have to do with it? We’re talking strictly in terms of rapping; that’s another deflection on your part.
Its so true... He entered the track laughing and said "...Fuck them kids!" then proceeded to hijack the entire song. Hehe... The time he spent in prison certainly had a lasting effect on him. He got acquitted and has been ascending ever since.
Classssic already!!. Getting hit with soo much fire lately. This, Westsides double album,Conway's upcoming and Bennys recent drop. Looking forward to bumpin rest of these tracks
....ick. trying not to cuss, I'm excited on slick. It's dope that we can all appreciate how...bro, they all made it a cinematic track. Alchemist makes beats, but he was a slick director of a scene on this one. He laid the score, and found the right "actors". Fly ish. The difference between beatmaker and producer.
@@sycomantz hatin on peoples opinions for no reason other then trying to be a hip hop elitist lol. I own every curren$y vinyl ever put out. Who really supports the cause here?
Best song in the album imo…alchemist is not from this planet….deadass…beat is INSANE 🔥🔥🔥 and Spitta ate this beat as is expected with Spitta on a uncle Al beat…”half moon bay” album Spitta x Alchemist soon…Gibbs is like Jordan and Spitta…the way Gibbs got the layup after Spitta verse is insane….Boldy is a animal as well
