I am visiting another old favorite - also a favorite of other Bollywood celebs like Sanjay Dutt & Shilpa Shetty.
Now run by the 4th generation, the restaurant serves recipes that are a century old! They have it all: Nalli Nihari, Chicken Biryani, Chicken & Mutton Hakimi, Keema, Haleem, Shaami Kebabs, Seekh Kebabs - and everything is just unbelievable. The long and short of it is that this is a non-vegetarian paradise.

Kunal sir no doubt food is great but just want to share Rashid Bhai is a great human being, visited Noor Mohammadi last year with my baby who was 3 months old ( breastfed) as mumbaikars know this place is crowded with no parking or any space... Our car was parked far away my son was crying for feed and we were just figuring out what to do... Without even asking for help Rashid Bhai asked one of his employee to open his back office so that I can feed my child.. really kind of him .. May bless you Rashid Bhai

Remembered fond old days during 1985 when we were students in Akbar Peerbhoy College and used to visit this restaurant frequently just for it Seekh Kabab and mutton dishes. Will be visiting it again now with my family. The way you described the various flavours, it seems the tastes must still be the same. 👌👌

After a long time I am watching Khaane mein kya hai,Kunal ji your explanation and description about food itself makes me hungry while watching the episodes and accordingly ,I end up buying mutton, chicken out of proportion at home and end up over eating, till the chest.Already because of this my weight has increased to 120 kg.Because my self also I am good cook,any ways best of luck to you and your team,for giving up such nice episodes.

Noor Mohammadi is my favourite restaurant in Mumbai. Wherever I go, I only eat at here. My fav. dishes are ShamiKabab, Dal gosht, Biryani, Kheema & Haleem. All dishes are super delicious & quite cheap.

Have visited many times for desserts I used to go Shalimar which is just adjacent to it. Try chicken korma and shammi kabab at Noor mohamadi Chicken kebab at sarvee restaurant byculla and faluda at shalimar

I don't understand how people are commenting that Sanju Baba chicken is not enjoyable. I have been to this place almost 2 years ago after a busy day in Mumbai and the taste of this recipe is still fresh in my mind. It has a well rounded tartness that I could not exactly pin down but I believe it comes from the whole chillies that they use or could be a little bit of curd. The preparation is rustic and bold yet rich. If you understand food the connection to Sanju baba is unmistakable

If you ever Visit Hyderabad...taste Haleem of Hyderabad....FYI...popular Foodie destination includes ...Shadab Hotel, near Charminar, Peshawar Hotel (famous for Pakistani dishes) and Pista House (World's Largest Haleem Seller). Try Jafrani Tea of Pista House...Awesome☺️ Also visit Hameedi Confectioneries...U can taste Jouzi and Pista Halwa there...very old shop, even Nizam himself visited that once. There r other eateries also in Hyd🙂

Nahari means, nahar pet khana. In olden times, people used to eat it early and would work the whole day. Hence it had to be wholesome
